Relaxed, remote and welcoming, Kingsley Lake View is kitted out with all the essentials for a memorable gathering, with two sociable living areas, plenty of parking and well-fitted bedrooms to boot. The perfect party pad for celebratory hijinks; eat, drink and make merry. This is our most suited property for effortless entertaining into the early hours!

If you're hankering after an indulgent treat with on-site amenities, Kingsley Lake View ticks all the right boxes. Lounge in the outdoor hot tub heated all year, shoot some pool in the Sports Bar, fire up the gas Barbie on the sun-trap terrace and make a toast to great friends and good company. Beyond the tall glass windows, two acres of sprawling grounds pan away to jaw-dropping views of the sedate rolling hills and lake.

Take advantage of the Sky package, excellent WiFi access, and music system in the open plan living area and garden. Throw on some tunes and let your hair down. There's no need to worry about the neighbours, and the secure gated entry ensures total privacy during your stay.

Amidst glorious Somerset countryside, enjoy wonderful walks and spot the wildlife that have made this stunning beauty spot their home.

Within easy reach are the impressive gorge and caves of Cheddar and Wookey Hole, the cathedral city of Wells, historic Glastonbury, the Georgian city of Bath and the home of Isambard Kingdom Brunel: Bristol.

The village of Chew Magna is 3 miles and offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants to pick up those last minute bits. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby including The Blue Bowl in West Harptree, and a Michelin starred gastropub, The Pony and Trap within a 10 minute drive.

Kingsley Lake View also provides perfect group accommodation for guests attending weddings at Coombe Lodge, a 14 minute taxi drive away. Ston Easton Park, Aldwick Court and The Pig near Bath are all venues within an 18 minute drive.

Kingsley Lake View sits in its own 2 acre site surrounded by fields. You may bump into the owner of the property, or occupants of a separate property on the shared drive in close proximity to Kingsley Lake View. The separate property does not look over Kingsley Lake View and is available to rent with Kingsley Lake View, enabling you to increase the total number of your guests from 16 to 23. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
