“Excellent comfortable base for Chester” Myself, husband and two young sons, stayed at this lovely house in Shocklach. On arrival we were greeted by a beautifully clean, roomy and tidy home, with all the equipment a family needs, also some milk and bread which was a godsend. The beds were really comfortable, and my children loved looking at the calves in the field opposite from their bedroom. We found we were in a perfect place to visit Chester and all the surrounding tourist places. Excellent value for a summer holiday break.

“Gorgeous little Gem in Chester” We had such a lovely time staying at the Little Tin Chapel, a wonderful place. We booked it so that we could go to Chester zoo, which we loved and only a 12 minute drive away. The Little Tin Chapel was a great find as it has lots of character and we really enjoyed lighting the wood burner and relaxing in the evening there. Definitely would recommend!

“Absolutely fantastic location, with all amenities on the doorstep.” The location is fantastic, Tesco and Boots across the road, a taxi rank and bus terminal all within a five minute walk. Found a fabulous Italian restaurant in Hoole, called Made in Italy on Faulkner Sreet - can highly recommend if you wish to escape from the hustle bustle of the City centre. This cottage is in the heart of the City, but it is very quiet and tucked away from all noise of a very busy City centre. The cottage is well maintained and cosy. A welcome pack with the basics is provided in the cottage when you arrive. The kitchen is small, but functional. The bathroom and toilet are fairly new and were clean on arrival, but not spotless. The shower is very good. The beds have decent mattresses and the bedding and towels were clean and nicely laundered. The stairs to the first floor are however, very steep. All in all, a pleasant place to stay, and we considered it value for money. We will go back.

“Excellent” Would like to say what a wonderful weekend I have shared with six friends,at The River House In Chester, beautiful room's views were lovely the location was prefect within 15 mins walk to the shops and restaurants, but still a relaxing spot to stay plus plenty of parking. Carnt stay enough really, just thankyou to Melanie for a great weekend

“Lovely stay at the Riverside Apartment......First Class in every respect.” I have just returned from a wonderful long weekend stay at the Riverside Apartment in Chester. I stayed with friends from my village, who have been going away together for the past 22 years ! The Apartment was First Class in every respect. The décor was very tasteful, the furnishings and beds were very comfortable and it was spotlessly clean on arrival. The views from the Apartment of the River Dee were excellent. Very relaxing, sitting watching the world go by, especially with G & T in hand ! Everything was within walking distance of the Apartment, Restaurants, The City and even the Station, so absolutely no need for a car. Although so close to the City it was very, very peaceful at night. On the Saturday we walked the City Walls. The Races were on so it made it a very colourful walk, observing all the lovely outfits ! We took a boat trip on the Sunday, as there was a huge boating event on the poor Captain spent the whole time avoiding the rowers, a very interesting ride for us. All in all we had a really lovely weekend, fantastic accommodation, venue, company and even the weather was glorious what more could you ask for. A very big Thank You to Melanie for the ease of booking and sharing her wonderful Apartment with us. Joanne O'Brien.
