“Splash Haven!” This review is long overdue. My husband and I stayed at Splash Cottage in august/September 2012 for two weeks. We loved it so much that we have booked it again for august/September this year for 3 weeks! We can hardly wait to arrive and be greeted by cottage owner Paul and his lovely mother-in-law Ruthie who does a fabulous job keeping the cottage in tip-top shape inside. The bedrooms are all a nice size and have ample storage for your travel gear. As the other reviews say it is "fully equipped" and I can't imagine there would be anything you would need that is not provided and if there is, you are only a short distance away from the shops. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay and I mean perfect you won't be disappointed in Splash Cottage. This year Paul has even arranged for the morning paper to be delivered so we can enjoy a quiet read out on the patio while drinking our coffee. Well now that the secret is out I guess we will be reserving our spot for 2014 as I can see this property has become a hot spot to stay at in the lovely Bangor, County Down. Cheers Paul and Ruthie.
