From the owner

Cobble House is situated in the centre of Padstow yards from the picturesque harbour and surrounded by the bustling shops and restaurants of this lovely seaside town. It is ideally located for a relaxed memorable holiday.

Cobble House dates back to the 19th century. The cottage has recently been renovated to create a comfortable and well-equipped holiday home. It retains many original features and has a charming period feel with stripped floorboards and open fireplaces.

The living room has an open fire with two leather sofas and an armchair. The house has Wi-Fi and there is a TV with Freeview, DVD player and a radio with i-pod docking station.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster and is finished off with contemporary painted cupboards and beech worktops. A small utility room, just off the kitchen, houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and a downstairs cloakroom with a toilet.
The dining room has an original slate floor and a pine dining table that seats six people. A highchair is also available.

With a double and two twin bedrooms, Cobble House can comfortably sleep six people. The first floor accommodates a large double room with a king size (5') bed and en-suite shower room. There is also a recently fitted family bathroom.
The second floor has two twin bedrooms, each with pretty dormer windows. The bedrooms are all furnished in a simple style with a bright seaside feel. From the front bedroom there are lovely views over the Camel Estuary. It should be noted the staircase to the second floor is steep and narrow. At the top of the stairs there are child safety gates on each door to the bedrooms but care must still be taken with small children or with elderly or infirm guests.
All three rooms can also accommodate a cot which is available at the house.

The normal changeover day is Saturday although short breaks are available out of season. The normal arrival time is after 4pm, with departure time by 10am.

Duvets, pillows and bedding are provided along with towels (please bring your own beach towels).

There is a family bathroom with a bath, shower in bath, basin and wc; an en-suite with a shower, wc and basin; and a downstairs cloakroom with a wc and basin.

To the front there is a small courtyard garden with a seating area (with a cobbled path that gives its name to Cobble House).

At the side of the house, there are very steep slate steps which lead to the rear garden (please take care with small children or with elderly or infirm guests). The back garden has a secluded private patio area enjoying views over the harbour and out towards the Camel Estuary. The patio catches the sun for much of the day and is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view. The patio leads to the main garden, with a sloping lawn, which is shared with the neighbouring house. The lawn has a children's climbing frame which includes a slide, swings and covered deck.
