“spacious” place was spacious clean smelt nice. Didn't like parking on the road but nothing negative apart from that. Next doors cats came and said hello most days which is ok if you don't have a dog with you which we didn't. Rebecca came and said hello and gave us some information that would be handy for us. Had a lovely holiday.

“Excellent value for money” Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Owners Sue & Alan have thought of every detail and have a little gem of a holiday home. The hot tub is soooo relaxing after a long walk and there are white robes / slippers provided adding to the chilled out feeling once you're out of the tub. The "secret garden" behind the gate comes alive at night with lights that are tastefully placed around it and the hot tub,we spent a day just lounging on the garden chairs in the hot sunshine ( lucky with the weather). Difficult place to say " goodbye" to as its a peaceful haven. Good luck to Sue & Alan they've put a lot of thought ,hardwork into this lodge and we hope it goes from strength to strength. Really enjoyed our stay and celebrating a birthday here . Thank you Martin & Jeannie Widnes Cheshire

“Cosy apartment in the beautiful dales.” Your apartment is warm, cosy and spacious and has everything available that you could possibly need to make the stay very comfortable. Appliances galore in the kitchen- loved the slow cooker. We enjoyed playing the games and puzzles that were available, especially the big 500 piece Europe jigsaw! We had a lovely week exploring the dales, the apartment is centrally located to travel around with ease. We visited Asgarth Falls, Tan Hill, Malham Cove, Hawes Wensleydale cheese factory, White Scar caves, Bolton Castle... among other places. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would highly recommend your apartment. Thank you.

“Lovely spacious cottage” Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here, it was a lovely cottage with everything you could need, comfortable beds and plenty of space for my two dogs. Parking on the road was no trouble and there are lots of parks a short drive away to visit. Views are fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a break from the normal day to day life!

“Perfect” Spent 4 days at Greenland farm and can't recommend it highly enough. If you want to be away from it all this is the perfect spot. The cottage is located on a small farm in the middle of the Yorkshire moors. The cottage was immaculately clean, which is so reassuring in the present climate, and had everything you could need. Outside was a lawned area with a swing and a slide that my daughter enjoyed playing on. We enjoyed driving past the cows, the sheep and meeting Meg the sheep dog. Whilst we were there we visited Saltburn by the sea, which has a lovely beach and everything you would expect at a traditional seaside resort. Parking was very busy by the beach so had to park on the cliff top which has a very steep path down to the beach. Unfortunately the cliff tram wasn't in operation. Paid a visit to whitby which as usual was packed!- not helpful for social distancing. Thank you Jackie and John for having us, we hope to return in the future.

“Great cottage fantastic location.” Greeted by the owner, full of information, very friendly and helpful. welcome pack awaited us on arrival. lovely cottage fully equipped, probably more kitchen items than most of us have at home. climbing frame for children in garden, luckily we had glorious weather, but there was a fully equipped games room for wet days. everything worked and it was spotlessly clean, Would gladly go back if the need arose. Nice quiet location, good walk into Goathland once you find the way.

“Brilliant location” Perfectly located to access the beautiful surrounding countryside with great walks for my collie. In the evening it's a short stroll to the local pubs and restaurants. Would definitely recommend Panetti's and The Taste of India. The cottage has everything you need with the addition of the great dog friendly garden with a gate that leads direct to a walk along the beck. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We will be returning.

“A wonderful cottage in a lovely location.” Our family: two adults/two children with Grandma and Grandad, visted this cottage and found it to be spotlessly clean, with all the facilities you could ask for in a self catering property. The location was ideal, in a pleasant village and accessible to the surrounding area such as York. I will certainly visit again!

“Escape From The Crowds.” Well I finally found found The Cottage after making three about turns on the road. Down a wee country track, we were met by Ingid, Matt and Knight Arthur...I grid offered to help me out with buying a couple of items for when Shen went shopping , so kind, very nice pleasant people.... Arthur promptly showed us around...my two dogs scurried off noses to the ground then finally the kettle went on..... On the Monday I bought fire requirements, and on Monday night I lit a fire, later adding a couple of logs. How lovely! Took us back to our childhood, toasting tea cakes at the fireside. My cousin 86yrs old slept excellently....I less so, as I found the double bed a little hard....I'm used to a softer bed, but as the week went on I adjusted and was happy to wander off in my dreams... Some lovely areas for walking, with breath taking countryside and fabulous vistas... Our more smiley moments were coming across roadside barrows selling all kinds of goodies...made the obligatory visit to Whitby Abbey, Scarborough, Ryedale Museum at Hutton-le-Hole absolutely a must...finishing off with a mighty tasty meal at the pub next to the museum. While staying at the cottage I bought my vegetables from the top farm, the most yummy carrots I've tasted for a long time...but a huge selection of fruit and veg, eggs too.... It's peaceful, quiet, and dark with a clear sky so star gazing was an option too...Outdoor seating, if you delight in a glass of wine at the end of the day.... Cheers Ingrid, Matt (hope you're back too good health) and to Knight Arthur...because that's just what you are...A Knight to the Rescue, Thank You Arthur, hope you made the Rugby Team ....take care all of you. “Terrific family house” Minster Bells is a spacious, convenient, and well-appointed house, with a very pleasant and helpful owner. Three generations of our family (aged 2 to 70+) enjoyed our long weekend there, while attending a family wedding. The house is very handy for the tourist sights, for shops (including a nearby supermarket, and restaurant) and for weddings at the Hospitium. Janet provides a most useful guide-pack to the facilities in the house, and to York in general. I would recommend Minster Bells highly.

“Half Term Break” Just returned from Mile House East, where we stayed for 4 nights. The house is stunning and is set in a quiet village with an abundance of walks around the local area. The house is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need! We particularly liked the room over the barn with a snooker table and a great choice of board games and DVD’s to watch. Leyburn is a 10 minute drive away and the local pub just 2mins drive down the road to Carlton. We would recommend the walk from Bolton Castle to Aysgarth Fallls which takes in some stunning views of the local area. We stayed as 2 families with a pet dog and had a thoroughly enjoyable break.
