“Great winter break” Stayed for the weekend to celebrate my Mum and Dad’s 50th anniversary. Didn’t know what to expect from Filey in November but it was fantastic. The house is better than the pictures show!!! We had the master room as my Dad can’t do stairs- wow!!! Absolutely huge with a breathtaking view of the sea on all sides. All the facilities in the house were good quality and it was lovely and warm. The log burner was brilliant and made it even more cosy on a very cold Saturday night. The Bay resort was a revelation - much more village like than your typical holiday resort. We ate at the on site pub on one night to save driving or getting a taxi. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the prices were reasonable. I’d recommend the house and the Bay resort to anyone who wants a real upmarket feel with great facilities.

“Fantastic stay” We stayed at Sunnyside for 3 days. What a delightful house. Everything you need and Lisa was a lovely host. Everything was thought of, including a cupboard in the kitchen full of condiments. Beautiful garden, private and tastefully finished off with garden lights. Easy reach to Bempton RSPB cliffs and a short distance to the sunny coast of Filey. Lisa had thought of everything and made our stay very welcoming. Lovely part of the east coast. Great break away.

“Excellent Family Xmas” Just returned from another family Xmas get together at Xmas decorated Denmark House and Lucasland. Everyone had a great time and this will now be an annual event. The place is so relaxed and more than accommodates our 26 strong family, with good sized rooms and numerous places to relax. The hot tubs are a huge bonus, but the pub is the main attraction for us as it is such a fantastic place to entertain. Hunmanby is a great village with good good amenities, good pubs and places to eat. Looking forward to next year.

“Perfect place to relax and catch up with friends in front of the fire” As a group of friends spread around the country we needed somewhere for a relax and a catchup. After finding Hazel Brow we committed and made a long weekend of it for a birthday and pre-Christmas Christmas dinner. The house is amazing. The bedrooms are very spacious, some with en suites so as a large group we were not all living on top of each other. The living room was large enough for us all to fit in and be cosy in front of the fire with board games. There is also a smaller snug with its own fire. We had an excellent evening meal at the Punchbowl inn which is a mere five minute stroll. Some of us also managed the walk to the Tan Hill Inn, just over 10 miles over the moors (map and compass essential!). There is a boot room with connected wet room so ideal for hosing off muddy walking gear (or dogs if you have one). Catherine was really welcoming when we arrived even though we were a tad early. She obviously takes great pride in the house as it is perfect. Looking forward to another stay, hopefully for longer next time.

“Great house in a superb location” Fall in Green is a lovely property located just off the Main Street in Haworth overlooking fields and with magnificent views across the hills and valley behind the property. The house has been skilfully and sympathetically modernised and is equipped with all that most people would need for a stay of a week or even longer. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending the house and hope to return some time soon.

“A great get away” We stayed at Greencroft during August 2011 - 6 adults, 2 young children and 1 baby. The house was easily big enough so we didnt feel restricted for space. The kids loved the cinema room and spent many a happy hour sat watching their DVD's on the big screen. The sun room was great to relax in and had a lovely opening into the courtyard garden. The village itself was very nice - with a large green onto which the back door opens on, just a quick run across the football pitch was some swings & slide that kept the little ones amused in between feeding the ducks in the stream. The pub opposite does a nice pint of real ale and had a friendly feeling whenever we ventured over. Richmond and the beautiful dales are a short car ride away and worthy of exploring. We also had a ride over to the Yorkshire East coast for a day with buckets and spades. As well as a trip to flamingo land which was less than an hours drive away. All in all a lovely weeks stay and we would recommend to others. Thanks to Katy for making the booking process an easy one. Rick Grayson & family

“Perfection” We stayed at this wonderful house for my Dads 60th birthday. We had a brilliant time, the house is beautiful, with everything you could want or need accommodated for. The beds are super comfy. The house is ideally located for exploring the village and surrounding areas. A visit here is a must and we really recommend this for any occasion.
