“A gem of a place” We could not fault this little gem of a well equipped well maintained chalet offering up to date facilities including comfy bed and lovely decor together with a welcoming pack of treats for both us and our granddoggies This chalet is a perfect hideaway with a spacius deck for pet safety but also al fresco eating and sun loungers to totally relax in . It was spotless comfy and cosy for 2 and 2 granddoggies. Local amenities and entertainment close by and 10 iminute walk to the beach. We would considwr a 2nd visit in the future.

“Perfect for couples” This was our second stay at Old Low Moor Farm but our first in The Granary. It certainly didn’t disappoint! From the very warm welcome from Karen and Jeff to the thoughtful welcome basket left for us. It’s spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard. The Granary has everything you need for your stay with plenty of space for two (and a cot if needed) and is very warm and comfortable. The location is really peaceful but convenient for the A19/A1M should you wish to explore everything that the surrounding area has to offer. We can also recommend the Dog & Gun in the village although you definitely need to book ahead. We love this place so much that we are returning over Xmas and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this little gem!

“Excellent location!” A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights from the 6th of November. The cottage had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a good walk-in shower with good water pressure. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was cosy. The location was fantastic. The co-op supermarket was only a minute away and all the shops, pubs and restaurants were only a 2-3 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay. Natja. Sorry about the recycling. We couldn't find the green bag you refer to in the notes.

“Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped property very close to the centre of York.” Great long weekend stay at Minster House - property large enough to accommodate 12 members of our family ranging in age from 0 - 86 years! Immaculately maintained, warm, comfortable and equipped to a very high standard - no qualms about visiting with a baby, every requirement met, even an Advent sterilizer! Refreshments provided on arrival (including tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits) were very welcome! Very close to all the attractions in York, in fact York Minster is less than 10 mins walk away! Owner attentive, helpful and responded rapidly to any query. No hesitation in recommending this property -we hope to visit Minster House again!

“Weekend Retreat” We had 4 people in the party and were delighted to find such spacious accomodation to an extent that no one was ever in the way of anyone else. The cottage had everthing that we needed in every department to make the stay a comfortable,warm and cosy one and it was so centrally situated that we were able to make full use of the pool, pub and restaurant with ease. We even managed a stroll on the lovely beach. We will definitely return to repeat this fabulous experience.

“Great house in a superb location” Fall in Green is a lovely property located just off the Main Street in Haworth overlooking fields and with magnificent views across the hills and valley behind the property. The house has been skilfully and sympathetically modernised and is equipped with all that most people would need for a stay of a week or even longer. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending the house and hope to return some time soon.

“A well presented and lovely place to stay” Stayed here as a group of 10 people - 6 adults and 4 young kids. The house, layout, location, facilities and the views are absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you’d require. They have made use of every space available with fitted wardrobes in every room, lovey bathrooms, decor and they even have garden games and swimming floats etc. It’s really clean and spacious too. The property is located nearer the beach so is absolutely ideal for people walking down to the beach (15 mins with a buggy, 8 mins without). We booked swimming pretty much every day and it was great (4 min walk). We also arrived in 3 cars and managed to squeeze all 3 in the drive, although tight, is was fine. Finally, and I guess most importantly, the communication and helpfulness of the owner Victor was brilliant and much appreciated All in all, a really well presented holiday home with all the stuff you’d require and more.

“Great location for visiting York” With 3 young children (including a toddler), we would have needed to book 2 hotel rooms, so we found the option of renting a house much better value. The house is well located, 15 mins walk from the centre of town and 2-3 mins from a number of takeaway restaurants and shops; a great base to look round York. Parking is quite tight but there was always some spaces noticeable, and the house is comfortable and meets all basic needs; good wifi & TV, and kitchen & bathroom are fine. A good place to use as a base for visiting York!
