“Excellent!” Being a busy time of year, we struggled to find anywhere to stay with our two dogs and needed somewhere to stay so we could visit family. Graham at Marlanes Holiday Villas was very accommodating and managed to put us up in one of his villas. He provided an excellent service despite the fact that we were late on arrival, leaving the Christmas lights on so we could find our way and leaving the heating on to heat the house which made our stay a little extra special. When we arrived there were a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine awaiting us, the villa was surprising stylish for the price and we were incredibly happy with the accommodation. Next time we visit family, we shall be staying at Marlanes Holiday Villas again and i would recommend it to anyone.

“Beautiful place” Lorna and John really know what’s important for people staying in their beautiful cottage, extremely comfy beds, great shower and well kitted out kitchen. The cottage is very peaceful with fantastic panoramic views of the Suffolk countryside. Laura and John were so kind and welcoming it made the trip to Suffolk for a family wedding extra special.

“A tranquil and private place to unwind” The location is accessible but very private. There are a wealth of places to visit close to hand if you want to. However, it is also very relaxing to thoroughly chill outside the house in the garden or walk to the lake across the field. It is so peaceful there. Our host Penny was absolutely charming and very respectful of our privacy at the same time. One day she even delivered some delicious scones, jam and cream for our tea. We did most of our own cooking in the well equipped little kitchen, but if you prefer there are many good local pubs/restaurants and takeaways close to the chalet. We will certainly visit again!

“Fabulous Georgian house, beautifully decorated and everything we needed for a 5 day stay” We were a large extended family and friends group staying at the house before and after a wedding in the area. We were greeted by the friendly owner Peter, who showed us around the beautiful house. Each and every room is decorated to a very high quality, and each with their own character. We loved the coach house's patriotic British soft furnishings! The gardens were beautiful, complete with outside toys and trampoline for kids. The games rooms with table tennis table and pool table saw a lot of use. The kitchen was complete with everything we needed, including for a chef friend of ours to cater a 6 course tasting menu for 25 people in the perfectly sized dining room. There are three dishwashers!! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we would absolutely definitely come again with a large group.

“The best family holiday” We stayed at walnut house in July for the second time,the first time was in October 2013 and can't rate it highly enough,chris and Wendy make you feel so welcome and offer great ideas for days out although we didn't go far as the house is exceptional we didn't want to leave,it has everything you need,on one of our rare days out we had a picnic and they even have cool bags plates,cups etc for you to use. It is a real holiday for parents as their is everything there for children from swimming,table tennis,toys and other games to amuse them and you know they are safe. And for the older children \adults the pool,hot tub and pool table offer great entertainment along with the sky sports! Really can't rate this amazing place highly enough and can't wait to return Thanks Chris and for another great holiday
