Dolphins is a spacious detached bungalow with three bedrooms (1double bedroom, 1 king size double which can be split into 2 single beds and a twin bedroom), a modern kitchen and large bathroom with a bath and separate power shower. The large main sitting/dining room and conservatory look out on the lovely back garden.This is a quiet and private area, ideal for rest, relaxation and sunbathing. The lack of stairs. easy access to all rooms and secure back garden make Dolphins the ideal choice for the very young,old or those with mobility issues.

The beach is only 100m away where you can swim in the sea or walk along the shore line.

The local fishing village of Pevensey bay is only a five minute walk away with all the amenities available including a wide range of excellent restaurants and pubs. Dolphins is an ideal choice for a family holiday . The high level of insulation and modern central heating keep Dolphins warm throughout the winter and make for an ideal relaxing weekend break out of the main holiday season. Gas Electric fresh cotton sheets and towels are included in the price. Set in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood. we have off road parking for 2 cars.

Getting around

The main bus route between Brighton and Hastings has a stop 50 metres from the front door if you don't want to use the car. There is a local Train station within walking distance which gives you access to Gatwick airport and London and you are only a 10minute Taxi ride from the centre of Eastbourne if you fancy a night out.

Very Good

“Dolphins Pevensey”

We were delighted with our recent stay at the Dolphins Pevensey Bay. Mike the owner met us and showed us around. The property was very clean and tidy, it is also very well equipped. Very nice peaceful and pretty garden, as well as a conservatory. It was lovely being so close to the beach, just 150 yards down the quiet road. Only a very gentle stoll to the village of Pevensey Bay where there are a selection of takeaways, restaurants, a bakery and supermarket. Only a short distance by car to a very large ASDA. Great place for exploring the area, Eastbourne, Beachy Head, Bexhill, Lewes and Hastings all within an easy drive. There are also buses for those not wanting to drive. Will hope to return in the future.

Dolphins is a spacious, well-equipped holiday home with lovely garden, really close to the beach which our three boys loved. It is good for those who are less mobile. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are lots of places nearby to visit. We were particularly impressed with Eastbourne.

We stayed a week at Dolphins, it was everything we could of asked for. Very comfortable accommodation, clean, and very well kept, everything we needed and so close to the beach and in very easy access of the village. We were met by the owner who showed us around which was helpful. The owner was very helpful and easy to contact, he offered a great booking service. We would defiantly go to Dolphins again, it's a lovely and very well kept Bungalow with a lovely sunny garden.

“Ideal Holiday Bungalow”

The Dolphins was an ideal choice for our holiday. The bungalow is thoughtfully planned, well equiped and is bright and fresh and clean. It satisfied all my disabled husband's needs. It is well situated and my husband was even able to walk the short distance to the bench on the beach.There is a very pretty garden with visiting birds and squirrel and a pleasant, peaceful conservatory. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for our golden retriever. Our grandchildren who came to stay loved the bungalow. We held a competition to find the most dolphins. I think the result was over 30. My daughter in law started looking for unusual pebbles and shells after she had seen the collection in the Dolphins. We were very lucky to find the Dolphins and will try to return soon.

Three mums with three young boys and a baby were all beautifully catered for during a short half term stay at Mike and Jane's just recently! The house was fully equipped with nothing left out! The information in the advertisement is spot on, however the smaller details which have been well thought out and show consideration for guests' requirements make a difference and cannot be underestimated - such as a hair dryer, iron, cafetiere, to mention a few... you really want for nothing in this house! Perfectly and conveniently located minutes from the beach, small town of Pevensey with a decent selection of local shops and bus stop in either direction for Eastbourne or Hastings/Rye. The house is simply but most tastefully decorated and is clearly a home well looked after and maintained with care. We would certainly love to return in warmer weather to make the most of the conservatory and garden area!

myself and my family enjoyed our stay at dolphins,garden was lovely and secure for our grandchildren,bungalow was well kept and clean and well equipt.the microwave broke and mike was there the very next day with a new one .

Dolphins really is as nice as it looks in the photos. It's clean, uncluttered, very comfortable beds, nice furniture and a lovely conservatory. There's a small, private garden that's well maintained and quite a sun trap. I had my elderly, disabled mother with me and it was easy for her to move around and there was even a seat for the shower which was a great help. The local shops and cafes are a 5 minute walk away and the beach is at the end of the road. For more eateries and a large supermarket Sovereign Harbour is a 5 minute drive away. I can certainly recommend Dolphins for a pleasant stay on the south coast and I hope to stay again myself next year.
