Chapel Cottage in Exford nestles in the heart of Exmoor National Park and close to the Somerset-Devon border. This cottage is divided over three levels and provides a rural retreat in this lovely village location and a great base for exploring the magic of Exmoor! Chapel Cottage sleeps 5 guests (+1).

Chapel Cottage in Exford can comfortably sleep up to four adults. In addition, the second bedroom has a single bed with the option of a further single pull-out bed underneath. This facility provides accommodation for one further adult, or two children. Six people can dine in comfort in the open-plan dining area or on the private and enclosed large patio to the rear of the cottage. Dogs are welcome, as are other pets. Stabling for horses can be found very close by.

There are also two excellent country inns that serve food within the village.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave, a radio/CD player and plenty of crockery, glasses etc.

The comfortable dining area opens out through double-doors onto a large patio overlooking the village green; perfect for alfresco dining or a summer barbecue.

The cosy lounge boasts a log-burning stove and comfortable seating to curl up on, as well as HD Digital TV (including Digital Radio channels), CD player, plus games and puzzles to keep you entertained if you need them.

The bedrooms are spacious, comprising one double room on the first floor (with a SuperKing size bed) and one twin/double room on the top floor. The twin beds can be linked to make a wonderfully wide double bed. The top room also contains a sofa that easily pulls out into guest bed providing ideal sleeping accommodation for children.

The main bathroom (with a shower over the bath, hand basin, bidet and WC) is on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is a shower room with hand basin, WC, washing machine and drying facilities.

Wifi is available throughout the cottage.

Heating and electricity is included in the price. An initial supply of logs will be provided for the wood-burner in the cooler months. Further logs can be purchased locally.

All linen, towels and a small welcome pack provided.

Double doors from the dining area open onto a large patio overlooking the village green; perfect for alfresco dining.

Private off-street parking for two cars is available just across the road, opposite the cottage. This is located behind the stone wall, adjacent to the wall.
