“Beautifully appointed cottage, extremely well equipped and perfect for a family weekend” Strathview Cottage was the location of choice for a family gathering to celebrate a significant birthday. The location was easily accessible for all 7 of us travelling from different parts of the country although I'm glad we were not dealing with the hill in the winter! The cottage was tastefully decorated, so many beautiful Scottish touches and all of us we were so comfortable there. We took advantage of the final day of the good weather and BBQ'd on our first night. The rain ( long awaited for Ailsa) made a great view over the fields. The view of our sprinting friends "the coos" made for some great entertainment too. Our welcome hamper was plentiful with all the items that we normally have to bring with us, a lovely cake to celebrate the birthday and some really lovely homely touches. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage.
