“The Granary was above all expectations.” Four adults and two children (four of whom came from the USA) came to Perth to attend a winter wedding. The cottage was warm, cosy and very comfortable and came completely equipped to meet all our needs .
The owners were extremely welcoming and hospitable. They had even decorated the cottage appropriately for Christmas which delighted the two children who arrived with their parents on Christmas afternoon.
“Brilliant &” I would like to thank Nick&Sara, this property was magnificent in many ways. It has a very state home features made us all feel like statesman and yet retained the home away from home feel. The amount of space was unbelievable l especially loved some of the utensils in the kitchen Sara very original and the second living room with many books to delve into. I will certainly be booking with you again as it was too short a visit but from my all our family this is a hidden gem.

Glen of Rait Tower
There was 10 of us staying ranging from a 3yr old to a 70yr old plus 2 dogs. There was plenty room for everyone. Some of it could do with a bit of an update but nothing major. Would be better if it was s fridge freezer in the kitchen instead of a big fridge and the freezer outside in a shed. It is remote but Perth is a short drive away. The dogs loved the walks in the woods and hills. Really good house if you want to get away from it all …
Fernbank Holiday Cottage
Just what we needed to wind down and chill out in peaceful and charming surroundings.
A well presented cottage in ideal position to visit local attractions or to visit old friends from a previous job in the area. The owners were warm and helpful upon arrival and were there to help if needs be but the set up worked so well we just settled in right away and the time there flew by. Having lived in the area we remembered to dress for all seasons in a day but our stay was not affected by the weather as there are always places to go nearby for adequate protection. …

Beech Tree Cottage - Fingask Castle
There were 7 of us stayed in beech cottage for a week in August. We had an amazing holiday. Sam was great before our holiday answering any queries. She also recommended the Sunday Market at Errol which we went to and it was fantastic so I would recommend this to everyone.
The cottage had everything we needed and more. It was clean and very homely. My mum is disabled and so the downstairs en suite bedroom was amazing. My kids loved wandering around the grounds looking for hidden things, the well and rope swings and many many more bits.
The pool is lovely but the day we went in there was a huge issue with flies. Hundreds of them swarming round us. Put us off a little bit but it's nature and your in the middle of beautiful forests so things like this are to be expected. The kids also had many a fun night in the games room. It's well equipped.
We honestly had the most chilled laid back holiday we have had in a long time.
We were a short drive away from Dundee and Perth both of which were lovely. We also traveled to Pitlochry and Edinburgh for days out.
The nearest shop is some way away which took us a bit of getting used to. However asda did deliver our big shop and we even got a takeaway delivered.
We also had 3 small dogs between us who were also made to feel very welcome.
Would recommend this place to anyone. It's beautiful and peaceful.... Miss is already …
Gean Tree Cottage - Fingask Castle
We had a wonderful few days relaxing and walking the grounds of the Castle, beautiful scenery and open log fire to curl up for the evening. …
Lovely quirky, vintage cottage in nice surroundings
Our second stay at Ladywell Lodge, slightly quickly and certainly old fashioned/vintage, a place with lots of character. Love the original windows, the patchwork quilts, the crockery and everything else which makes it feel like a home from home. As well as the usual bedding and towels,, there is plenty of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, loo roll.... Really all you need to bring is your food, although when there are 6 people staying a handful of additions in the crockery department would be good. Spotted a red squirrel from the dining table without even trying. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back soon. …
