“A Hidden Gem!” I live in Queensland, Australia and was back in Ireland visiting friends. I went to Hawthorn Cottage with my friend, who knew the area from years ago.
What a hidden gem! The countryside all around is so wild and beautiful. The cottage itself is gorgeous! It was cosy and warm, yet bright and airy. I loved the attention to detail which sets this cottage apart from others I have visited.
It is located in a quiet place from which you can reach many sites of cultural and environmental interest.
Catriona and her family made us feel very welcome. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind and take in nature. It was hard to leave but I know I will be back again...
I couldn't recommend Hawthorn Cottage highly enough. You wont be disappointed either!
