Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Beautiful home and fantastic stay!” Visited with a group of 14 for a weekend away. The house was much bigger than we expected and beautifully decorated. The facilities are great - we made good use of the hot tub and snooker table! Abi was lovely and welcoming and popped round after we'd arrived to check everything was ok. Other than that we had the place to ourselves and enjoyed a fantastic lazy weekend. We would definitely recommend and fully intend to go back when we fancy another break.
“Lovely, quiet retreat” We’ve just returned from a lovely 4 nights away. We used the bungalow as a base for a range of National Trust days out. The bungalow was very clean, had all of the amenities you’d want (and more). My only slight criticism was that the toilet kept refilling, throughout the night, which woke us a couple of times on the first night, but once we were used to it, we didn’t notice it! It was a lovely quiet place and a perfect location. We would recommend!
“Cozy cottage with secure garden for dogs” We had a lovely but brief stay in this cosy, historic cottage which is well situated for trips to Sherwood and Nottingham (for two Robin Hood fans) and other parks and places around about. We had two children and two dogs with us and so the wifi and garden were very welcome. We had been really grateful to the owner for her help with the booking and especially for allowing us to bring both dogs. As it is a small, historic cottage, it has some low doorways and small staircase and so being taller and clumsy did mean I hit my head several times! But we have already recommended this cottage to friends.
