Manor Farm Cottage is located in the historic village of Teversal in the Nottinghamshire countryside. Formerly part of Manor Farm now a separate residence, Manor Farm Cottage welcomes you with an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, and lounge, complete with log burning stove and French doors leading out onto the lawn with beautiful views of the Meden valley.

This luxurious holiday cottage has been awarded a 4 STAR Gold Award by Visit Britain.

The cottage provides an ideal base to explore Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire which are great for walking, cycling and visiting National Trust properties & stately homes.

Fully refurbished recently, the cottage provides excellent self catering accommodation with a traditional feel and modern comforts throughout.

> On the first floor are three bedrooms with restored pine shutters, tastefully decorated and furnished. A king size bedroom (which can be made a twin if desired) with views over the countryside, a twin room with views over the countryside and a further double bedroom, altogether sleeping six in comfort.

> Relax in the roll top slipper bath in the bathroom, which also has a separate shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

> For an original touch of the Victorian era why not use the separate Victorian style toilet – almost throne like!

> The property is surrounded by gardens, lawns, an orchard and views over open countryside. There is plenty of room for children to play or why not sit out on the rear lawn and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Bring your own bicycles and enjoy riding around the open countryside in the local area, as well as the 'Teversal Trails', which provide great walking and cycling opportunities on the former lines of the Midland and Great Northern railways.

> There is ample parking on the driveway to the front of the property.

> Golf, a driving range, fishing and horse riding are all available locally.

Your reservation for Manor Farm Cottage is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. A deposit 30% of the total amount is payable upon booking (non refundable). The remaining balance is due six weeks before the start of your holiday.

Arrival at Manor Farm Cottage should be after 3.00pm on the day of arrival. We ask guests to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure, unless you are departing on a Sunday when you are more than welcome to stay till 3pm

Please note:

All linen is included in the price, fresh bath towels are also included.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Smoking is permitted but not internally.

We suggest that all potential guests ensure that they have comprehensive holiday insurance which includes cover for unavoidable cancellations.

Downstairs:

- Fully fitted farmhouse style kitchen complete with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and fridge freezer.
- Lounge with feature open chimney breast and log burner and patio doors opening onto the garden and views across open countryside. Original winding cottage stairs lead to the first floor.

Upstairs:

- Bedroom 1 with Super King size bed with views over the rear and open countryside, original pine shutters and period fireplace. (Can also be made a twin bedroom)

- Bedroom 2 with double bed to the front of the property

- Bedroom 3 a twin room (2ft 6 beds) with views over the garden and open countryside, original pine shutters and period fireplace.

- Family Bathroom complete with wc, wash hand basin, separate shower cubicle and freestanding luxurious slipper bath. Heated towel rail and hot air heater.

Outside the property is surrounded by secluded gardens, which includes a large playing lawn an orchard and a raised garden with views over open countryside.

There is ample parking to the front of the property.

A bicycle store is provided should you wish to bring your own bikes.

“Loved it!”

We had a lovely few days here with friends. Accomodation has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, nice open plans kitchen\ living room. Lovely walks right on your doorstep which was nice and pub within walking distance. The views from the living room doors is lovely, so quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and would definitely return again.

“Delightful cottage”

We travelled up from Kent at the weekend for a family wedding and were lucky enough to stay at this delightful cottage. Wonderful location with fabulous views overlooking fields, well equipped kitchen, beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, fresh towels and linen and a welcoming pint of milk with tea and coffee supplied. Hope to be back for a longer visit.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this delightful cottage. It has been finished to a very high standard, everything has been thought of. The wood burner in the lounge makes for a lovely central feature. The bathroom upstairs is huge with a wonderful feature bath. The village is very pleasant to walk around. We definitely will be back!

"Teversal Manor Cottage is a wonderful place for a break with friends and family but you should also consider it for longer if you need to be based in the area for longer. I can highly recommend it as self catering accommodation for the discerning business traveller working on short term contracts who wants the space and facilities beyond that which can be offered in hotel accommodation. I was fortunate enough to be working in the area for a number of weeks and was delighted to secure a stay in the cottage. It has a very well stocked beautiful farmhouse kitchen, efficient wifi and a cosy living space which was just what I needed. I particularly loved the master bedroom providing wonderful views and the characterful bathroom. It is peaceful, well located near networks and the countryside and really home from home in the thoughtful comforts provided. The staff running the business were so helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you"
