In the quaint village of Oldcotes, near Worksop, Nottinghamshire, Manor Farm is a stones throw from Tickhill, Bawtry and Blyth. A Brewers Fayre pub is just a five minute walk up the road and provides a play area for children as well as a good range of pub food. Two golf courses nearby and of course the orchard provides a great area to practice your chipping!

Whether you're looking for a weekend get together with friends, or a longer break with family, Manor Farm provides a perfect getaway in a semi rural location near to some superb local attractions including Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Sundown Adventure Land, Sherwood Pines, Sherwood Forest, Hodsock Priory and further a field you can spend the day in the Peak District, visit York, Harrogate and Leeds.

You can appreciate the Victorian Model Farm buildings, which take in the Dove cote and the fields beyond and also across the front lawns with open aspect views of fields and land belonging to Hermeston Hall.
Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire is definitely 'on the map' and a visit to 'God's Own Country' as named by locals, really is a must. Put that together with the rolling hills of the Peak District, the flatness of Lincolnshire and the lively cities of Sheffield, Nottingham and Leeds nearby,

The farm is quirky and quintessentially English, with comfort and character rolled into one. The entrance hall is grand and sets the atmosphere for this large Victorian home. There a three reception rooms; a dinning room which seats up to 16 guests, a large dinning kitchen a lounge and a sitting room.
The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and socialising at the same time. There is a table which can seat up to eight and also double doors leading onto an patio, ideal for alfresco dinning - BBQ provided. Appliances include electric cooker, a range, microwave, plus a fridge freezer. kettle, toaster and a good selection of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
The lounge has the original fireplace (we provide your first basket of logs!), a flat screen, freeview TV, and DVD player.
The front sitting room provides a quieter place to retreat to with terrific views of the front lawn. Pre dinner drinks, board games and long chats into the night have been some of the activities in this room.
There is also a downstairs washroom and access to a washing machine..
On the first floor there are two family rooms (one ensuite) with a double and single bed in each and a further ensuite double room. A twin room and a further room with bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom with overhead shower.
On the second floor is a double room and a twin room. A cot and highchair are also available for our younger guests and we also have a vast array of toys and DVDs for your use.
Other facilities include a 'Man Cave' with a FULL size snooker table, plus a bar area, fridge, light up Juke Box ping pong table and darts! The orchard also provides a superb picnic and BBQ area. Outdoor climbing frame and swings are on the front lawn, we request however that children are supervised as we cannot accept any responsibility for injuries.
Over the years we have been able to assist with family reunions and birthday parties so whatever the reason for your stay here we are able to recommend local caterers for dining as well as good local restaurants nearby. The house can be set up as you need it in terms of bedrooms and of course over the Christmas period we bring in trees and trim up the house for the festive season. Unfortunately we cannot promise snow but we can say that Santa has always visited us using the open fireplace as his route in!!
