“Amazing accomodation, excellent location” The owner of Lochinver House has thought of everything to accommodate visiting families and I mean everything! Simply bring your own food and EVERYTHING else is catered for. We stayed at the house in April 2014 and were blown away by just how good it was, from the large screen TV with Wifi access to the sound dock for playing music, the owner has all thought of all of the mod cons. The house itself is immaculate and very well presented, the lounge area is comfortable for just relaxing and looking out to the awe-inspiring view, its spacious and luxurious, the beds are very comfortable and linen new and fresh. The bathrooms are excellently appointed with power showers throughout. The kitchen has every gadget and cooking utensil you could imagine. We loved the hot tub, which was great even though the outside temp was pretty cool in April. In Lochinver itself we ate very well at both the Caberfeidh restaurant and the Lochinver Larder and we were able to pick up bits and pieces at the two local (smallish) supermarkets. The local beaches are first class and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip, we are a family of four (two adults and two kids) and we'd highly recommend this place as a great break away from the city/town.
