    Bungalow rental in John O'Groats

     (18)Excellent

“Highly recommended” Great cottage and hosts. The views constantly changing were spellbinding from the dining area. Beautifully built cottage, warm and comfortable with everything you could want. Maybe will get back again from Oz.

    Holiday farmhouse in John O'Groats

     (5)Excellent

“Excellent” A beautiful farmhouse, tastefully decorated and furnished. There were so many special touches. We had the most fabulous Christmas there. The views are spectacular and just a short walk from the coast and a wonderful view over to the Orkneys

    North Winds
Self catering haven almost off the edge of Scotland!

Would highly recommend North Winds self catering cottage. The owners, Ethel and David, are very friendly and helpful owners, nothing too much trouble. Suggest that food shopping is done en route before you arrive at the cottage, either at Tesco in Wick or Thurso, both good shops. Even though we had very disappointing weather for June it did not stop us from getting around and sightseeing. Highly recommend Mey Castle, five minutes by car, Dunnet Head for views and birds. Area is excellent for serious walking. We took a two day trip by the ferry at Gills to Orkney which proved to be wonderful, had better weather there as well! On a clearer day you can see the Orkneys from North Winds, so take binoculars. Lots of bird life in the area. Go on, book a few days at North Winds and you won't be disappointed. see more
