“Fabulous barn conversion. Beautifully presented.” Great welcome. Clean, fresh, the barn is full of character. Having a great one week stay. Village is a small but lovely place to wander round. Fantastic play park nearby.
“Luxurious holiday home ideal for short break” This holiday home far exceeded all our expectations. Once inside, we felt instantly comfortable and relaxed. Beautifully clean throughout, plenty of room, comfortable sofa and bed, hot tub outside and car parking. Very quiet in the evenings and therefore able to sleep well all night.
With Lincoln city centre only five miles away, we enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and Castle.
We have recommended Church Farm Cottage to all of our friends and family, and would certainly consider visiting again.
“Wonderful weekend” Wow ! It's like staying in a 5 star holiday house. Beautifully finished and extremely comfortable. It felt like home, which was perfect. Louise's welcome ideas (don't want to spoil anything) just the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend and would definately book again.
“Lovely cottage great location” Stayed here for a week at start of july and were so lucky. Had great weather for the entire week and the cottage was the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. The owner peter had left all basics we'd need so we didnt need to rush to waitrose right away, including abjar of their own delicious honey from hives at the back of the property. The cottage itself was fully equipped so it felt like home away from home. Our wee dog had the run of the huge garden and orchard for the week and enjoyed his holiday every bit as much as us. So much to do and see within short drive but great to come back to the quiet of the cottage each night. Would love to stay again in the future if we were down lincoln way and had the chance. Highly recommened.
“Mrs” My husband and I had a relaxing overnight stay at Scampton Lodge. It is a gorgeous cottage with an extremely comfy bed and everything you need for a short stay. Location is great for visiting RAF Scampton and the lovely Lincoln. The Dambusters Inn is only a 5 minute walk away too.
“GREAT location - easy walking distance to cathedral, shops, restaurants” the only small issues i had were with intermittent wireless, and the fact it was a bit noisy in the late evening when people came out of the pub!
bedrooms are small but cozy and warm. (there are 2 bedrooms - both with double beds - not much extra room for a cot, so expect to sleep 4 realistically ). lots of hot water. kitchen nicely self-contained. clean rooms.
“A beautiful ,peaceful getaway” Would definitely stay here again. The house is very spacious, clean and comes with all the little finishing touches that makes it extra special. It's such a relaxing environment. Jude is extremely helpful and pleasant lady .
“Danesgate house” This house was just what we needed for our stay over Xmas.It was very well located being a short walk from the lovely cathedral area and the shops and restaurants. We had brought a Xmas tree but the owners had also supplied a decorated one! They were kind enough to lend us some extra chairs from their restaurant nearby for our family Xmas lunch which we cooked in the well equipped kitchen. I can thoroughly recommend this property .
“Lodge stay 1 night” Just wanted to say what an lovely time we had and how lovely the place was as a whole. It was our first family vacation with our baby. Very peaceful, beautiful location, nice lodge, with great rooms and great hot tub! Awesome bed too! The owner Debbie is very helpful and nd approachable, and the services like wifi are reliable. Nice view and close to Lincoln and Doddington Hall. I recommend the stay for families and friends and would go back again!
“Just truly brilliant. Extremly well appointed .Location spot on.” Just doesn't get any better than this. Susan welcomed us on arrival and we didn't have to want for anything. A lovely , lovely town house superbly equipped and beautifully decorated. . Left us with more than adequate supplies as well. Appreciated .
Great walks and shops , specially down Steep Hill , (get the bus back!) Everything within walking distance, Pubs, eateries .all easy . Cathedral (Susan gave us a pass) magnificent . So's the castle.. Sun in the morning reflected off the castle wall sublime.

Barn Conversion Church Farm Lincoln
Really super holiday let.
Stayed here for just 2 nights with my adult daughter. We both wished it could have been for longer. This is a perfect holiday cottage situated in a village . We had a quiet and relaxing time. The barn conversion accomodation is both well lit, airy and cosy. It has a downstairs bedroom (with 2 comfy single beds) with easy access to the downstairs wet room and toilet Towels and bathrobes were provided. The downstairs kitchen is really well equipped and includes a dishwasher. The sitting area has 2 comfy sofas. Although there is central heating there's a wood burning stove as well. We didn't need either as the weather was warm. Upstairs is the dining table and chairs on a landing area. Then a door to the main bedroom with king size bed. There's a free standing bath in the bedroom (on a slightly raised area) and a separate loo /wash basin room. We thoroughly recommend this holiday let. Owner Karen and her husband were very friendly but not intrusive. We were left a welcome pack with milk in the fridge, loaf of bread, butter pats, breakfast cereal for the first morning and tea, coffee and biscuits. Best of all was the home made lemon drizzle cake. Yummy! Probably the best holiday cottage I have ever rented for attention to detail to make guests really comfortable. …
