Piglet Cottage complements Barn Cottage both are awarded Gold by Visit England. (ref: 1673302). Built within the same complex, both properties can be rented giving a maximum accommodation for 10 persons if available. The same superior levels of comfort have been included e.g. underfloor heating, ensuite shower room, king size bed with Egyptian Cotton bedding also double sofa bed in lounge if required, new oak, fully equiped kitchen, telivision in both lounge and bedroom plus many more extras to make your stay pleasurable. Suitably designed to accomodate two people extra accomodation cot etc can be supplied for a small family on request. The large, open plan kitchen/ lounge opens onto a covered patio area ideal for eating alfesco in the evenings or relaxing during the day. It also has its own fenced lawn ideal for keeping little ones safe.

Piglet Cottage offers a stay to be remembered, Winter or Summer. It is situated on the Lincolnshire - Nottinghamshire border (A57) within easy access to the historic city of Lincoln with its ancient Cathedral and medieval Castle come and visit the world famous Magna Carta circa 1215 and the national trust workhouse at Southwell near Nottingham, Grantham, Doddington Hall & Gardens and the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds are all within easy driving distance. The cottage is also close to Robin Hood country in Sherwood Forest where you will find the Major Oak. If you want more for the little ones, why not visit the ever popular Sundown Adventure Land for children only a few miles away, also White Post Farm and Rand Farm Park are all close.

Set within walled,private gardens, with access through electric gates offering secure parking,the cottage has been converted from old farm stables dating back two hundred years. It has been sympathetically renovated, retaining as many of the original features as possible.

We had a lovely couple of days chilling , the cottage was very cosy and homely , had everything you needed. Was very clean and the decor was high spec . Would highly recommend . We will definitely be visiting again.

I booked a weekend trip here last minute. It was a lovely property, very peaceful and quiet. It was great as I was able to take my dog with me. Everything was clean and it was a lovely touch that the owners had even provided dressing gowns..... I will definitely return as would love to explore Lincoln more. Sadly, after all the lovely weather we’ve had it rained whilst I was there but it didn’t spoil the break. The only downside was that I initially paid for 2 people to stay there as was meant to be going with a friend but they had to pull out due to work commitments, I contacted Tripadvisor to see if I could get a refund for the 2nd person but they didn’t reply which is a shame as it cost me a lot more than it should have done.

Lovely little cottage, perfect getaway for escaping the hustle and bustle of 9-5. Everything we needed was there and it was a great location for travelling into the city of Lincoln!

Stayed in Piglet for several nights and the property is well thought out, laid out and the service for guests is great. Nothing missing that you might need and some additional extras when you arrive which was much appreciated.

Ideal location being 10-15 minutes from Lincoln. Had a lovely welcome which included wine and chocolates. The owners had also left bread, coffee, tea, sugar and milk - so thoughtful. Look forward to booking again sometime in the future.

How do damage deposits work?
