“Excellent” Had a lovely 5 days at Jamie's cottage has everything you need and the enclosed garden was great for our dog. The location is perfect really close to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe I would definitely stay there again
“Home from home.” Coming from Pembrokeshire we weren't disappointed with the lovely scenery and beaches. Surf hire is readily available and I'd advise everyone to have a go! The "upside down" Old Stores was extremely comfortable and every detail had been attended to. The spare bedroom to escape the snoring husband was an added bonus! The food at the Rock Inn was exceptional as was the curry on the beach at the Beach Café. Putsborough & Croyde are well worth a visit. Georgham is very central to local beaches with Braunton nearby for shopping. Highly recommended.
Thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Devon. The Old Dairy, is a well equipped well designed home, it's beautifully clean, has very comfy beds, just like a posh hotel, and a good outdoor space. The local pubs are in easy walking distance & the beach is a 5 min drive. Would definitely recommend a stay! …
great cottage in lovely village near superb beach
We have stayed in Georgeham many times but this was the first at this rental. The cottage is well equipped and there is a lovely through lounge with views to the garden and over to the fields. The garden is dog proof which is essential if you are taking your dog-as we did, and there is a tap and facilities for washing out wet suits. There are two excellent pubs in the village and nearby Putsborough is fantastic-the beach pass is very welcome. …
A wonderful holiday cottage, did not want to come home!
Our stay at Barley Cottage was brilliant. We have two small children aged 6 and 9, both of whom did not want to leave the cottage either. It is so beautifully decorated and everything, really EVERYTHING needed was there. It really is the most wonderful cottage to stay in; comfortable, stylish, cosy, clean, fresh - the garden/ decking area was great to chill out in once the children were in bed. Georgeham is beautiful and really friendly. Croyde, Puttsborough and Braunton five min away - the walk to Puttsborough was great! Nice pubs with friendly locals. …
Home from Home
It was a pleasure to stay at Fairhaven from beginning to end. It was clean, tidy and welcoming. The village is well situated to visit the whole area, in our case, especially Putsborough Beach!! The bungalow is situated in a quiet residential area and is walkable to the local shop and pubs. Can't wait to go again!! …
West Wing at Wester David, Georgeham near Croyde
Great for families
Very nice and well equipped house in a location 5 mins down the road from Croyde (which is good because Croyde can be hectic). Nice communal areas in the house with a beachy theme and flexible bedroom space. Huge garden for kids to run around in and the chickens were a hit. Friendly owners who were more than happy to help and answer any questions. 2 great pubs in the village with the Kings Arms serving particularly good food. Would certainly recommend this, espeically for families with young children. …
The Old Stores
Magical little upside-down cottage
Three nights and sunny days in the delightful village of Georgeham, and in a fabulous little place. Upstairs is still cottagey but big and airy, with soft warm carpet and the spacious kitchen. I'd wondered if the bedrooms, downstairs, might be dark, but no - somehow they're light and sunny too. An ingenious way to have arranged everything. Georgeham is tiny but has a pretty church, a little shop, and good pubs - and you'll find more if you wander down the road to equally pretty Croyde. …
