“Home from home.” This is a relaxing home from home in a very handy location to see the many offerings on anglesey and around Snowdonia. The garden is lovely place to sit and you won't be alone, if the chickens have not been housed for the night, they will come and sit with you for some company. There are good places to eat nearby too. The Jade Garden in Menai Bridge is very good and does superb, fresh lobster up to September. They are delivered fresh from local catches. The Maram Grass, or a similar name, is just down the road and does superb food, don't be put off by the hut-looking appearence. The people and the food are lovely. Beaumaris is worth a visit and the Pier Head Cafe is a good people watching spot, as it the pier with all the crab fishers along it. South Stack is a beautiful place to walk along the cliffs. We had good weather there, it may be a bit wild on some days. The nearby beach is a smashing place to sit with the surrounding forest, more than worth the £3 entrance. All in all Stick Cottage and the owners is a smashing place to stay. An aside for wheelchair users. It probably wont be suitable for wheelchairs.
