We had a great stay.
You can get to Inverness, the dolphins at Moray Firth, Loch Ness and Glen Affric really easily from the cottage, and Ullapool is less than an hour's beautiful drive away.

There is actually a very nice walk towards Drumnadrochit along a forestry track just on the other side of the river, accessed over a bridge by going a little way in the wrong direction.
