“Great cottage, well laid out, lovely bedrooms, all well equiped, well maintained” Ideal as a base for exploring the local countryside/cliffs and nearby places of interest. Amongst other places, visited Deal Castle, Walmer Castle and Gardens, Richborough Roman Fort, Ramsgate and its beach and the excellent Ramsgate Tunnels, also Dover Castle and beach. Quaint compact ye olde villiage location with private parking for two cars. Locals were very friendly. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Post Office and local store are just down the road. Interesting St Margarets of Antioch church and churchyard. We all had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay in Groves Cottage.
