“Tincleton lodge” A very comfortable cottage in a quiet location. It was well equipped and had plenty of space for the eight of us. We followed the nature trail to a fab bluebell wood. Wareham is nearby so good for a trip out. Highly recommended.

“Beautiful apartment and great location” We wanted an apartment with three bedrooms to accommodate myself, husband, daughters and also to invite my sister and brother in law to stay for Easter weekend. Adrian and Sarah's apartment fitted the bill and we were delighted when we opened the door. It is beautiful inside, with extras such as handsoap, DVDs and numerous magazines/information of the local area. This was our first trip to Bournemouth. Adrian and Sarah gave us loads of information particularly on eating places which were very much appreciated! Particular things of note: a small lift right next to the apartment, useful for shopping trips, buggies etc., good power showers, very well-equipped kitchen, comfy lounge. There is a short walk to the East Cliff. We walked over on our first night and felt we were in a very 'safe' area. You can leave your car at Hartford Court and walk into town (10-15 mins) either along the cliff or straight down Christchurch Road. We found people in Bournemouth very friendly and it was nice to see students around the place. When coming from the New Forest, (having crawled through Boscombe a couple of times), we would recommend turning north from Christchurch to the A338, then approach Christchurch Road off the A338, past the train station on your left then turn left off St Swithuns roundabout. Excellent accommodation for a relaxing break.

“Mrs” A beautiful cottage. Well equipted. Four of us stayed with my 2 year old grandaughter. Cottage was pretty clean aand had everything you need. Within walking distance of the town and the beach and I am disabled and I managed to walk it. There was some noise from the flats across the road that went on till the early hours but when the tv was on you couldn't hear it aand maybe a one off. I would recommend staying here and Weymouth as there were plenty of things to do. Wish if we had booked for longer.

“A highly recommended stay!” Richard and Paul were amazing hosts, both very friendly, attentive and helpful over email before our stay. The house is very well situated with the cost of pure sandy beaches just a sort walk away. The house was fully equipped with many hidden extras that made our stay just that bit more comfortable. The house is very modern, very clean and nicely laid out for a family or two couples (as we were!). I will certainly be back again next year. 5 stars*****

“Peaceful well equipped comfortable cottage” We found the location very peaceful with great views. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable, unfortunately we had a problem with the tv which Tania sorted out the very next day with a brand new tv. We had a wonderful holiday here, seeing the badgers in the garden next door every night. This was a great base to explore the area from like monkey world, Portland Bill, Bournemouth and the Jurassic coast. We can highly recommend The Marquis of Granby for excellent food and value, its a must and only a ten minute drive away.

“Joy had thought of everything.” We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at Acorns at the end of October, celebrating my birthday. Joy warmly welcomed us and showed us around the generous, beautifully appointed and cosy warm accommodation; she had thought of everything we could possibly need. We appreciated all the contents of breakfast basket, which set us up well for a bracing 5 mile circular walk around the edge of Lyme Regis, as recommended in one of the guide books in the drawer. We managed to book supper at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Canteen in Axbridge for our second evening and our meal certainly lived up to expectations and was delicious. Joy kindly and promptly posted back to me some possessions I had inadvertently left behind and without charge. All in all a great place to stay, where they definitely "go the extra mile" and we would love to return to sample some more of the delights of Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast.
