“Clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage ideal for all ages.” The Bothy is a spacious, well equipped cottage with many thoughtful extras provided by the owners to make it feel like a home from home. It was an ideal base for exploring the area but also provided a warm and cosy place to spend a winter's day relaxing indoors. The view of the Church through the living room window was breathtaking in the early morning mist. Having ensuites in all the bedrooms made it easier for a group of adults sharing the house. The welcome pack and fresh flowers in the cottage were a particularly nice touch.

“Wonderfully charming, beautifully decorated with home from home feel. Just perfect” This has to be one of the loveliest stable conversions I've ever seen. The owners ( hats off to them) have gone all out to make sure that your stay is perfect and on arrival they even provided a welcoming pack which included coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sweets and real Dorset shortbread (perfect after a very long journey). Every little detail in this wonderful converted stable has been finished to the highest of standerds with everything that you would need for that perfect holiday break and has a real home from home feel? The beds have superb Mattresses which are comfortable and aid a good night sleep after the long country walks. The kitchen area (which houses everything you will need, not just the basices) is just charming and decorated beautifully. The big bounce for us was that the owners allowed dogs and also provided an enclosed exercise erea. The animals that they keep are all really friendly which matches the owners personalities and no matter what we asked they always had time for us. See you next year and thank you.

The Bothy, very spacious three bedroom cottage, sleeps 7 (+1). All rooms ensuite
Somewhere to get away from it all

Great location and fairly remote within a mile of highest point in Dorset - which is well worth a walk. Spacious and clean, light and airy cottage surrounded lovely gardens with goats, pigs and sheep nearby ready to greet you and your family, whatever you age!. Nice pub and village shop within walking distance. Village well placed and in easy reach of Bridport, Dorchester, Crewcerne etcsee more
Orchard Cottage, sleeps 5 (+1) - 2 spacious ensuite bedrooms, King-size beds
Great accommodation, comfortable and so peaceful.

Lovely location, all amenities are catered for. Safe parking and beautiful scenery. We booked both the cottages for a family holiday and everyone enjoyed their time at Week St Mary. First day there was a problem with the toilet but this was sorted out promptly by Gaynor our host. Thank you for the attention. Good location for visiting North Cornwall but you do need a car to see the main attractions. Relaxing atmosphere and the games room is a plus if the weather is mixed which for our visit it was. I would have liked to explore the local area more with walks from the doorstep but the weather preventing venturing into the fields. More information on local walks would have been an advantage but we did not miss out on all the other places we visited. Boscastle is worth a visit very beautiful and Bude is great for shops and a good beaches with coast walks.see more
Hursey Gate Stables, 2 bedroom rustic converted stables overlooking paddock
Brilliant property, lovely people, good location

Lovely property, really top drawer! The animals out the back were all very friendly and in good condition and the proprietors are very friendly and full of good advice on the local area. The village itself has a nice shop, a huge craft centre and a pub, though I overheard conversations that the pub was closing so might be worth checking this, if it is still open it does lovely, huge portions of food though! Transport routes into and out of the village are single track as are most of the roads in the area it seems! But very picturesque overall. No mobile phone signal, so paying the extra tenner for wifi is well worth it. We visited the coast on many occasions and found it an excellent base to trek from. Our daughter absolutely loved the pigs and sheep, and running up and down the long hallway too. I can't recommend this property highly enough.see more
Barn
Seriously good accomodation

My wife and I spent a week staying at the Barn with our two golden retrievers. Property was clean, tidy and spacious and had everything we needed. Owners were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. Wi-Fi was brilliant as it helped us keep an eye on the weather forecast for a rather wet week and find places to go. Furnishings were modern and comfortable and a new flat screen TV was handy for watching Euro 2016 games. Only thing we would have changed would have been a private garden so dogs could be outside without the risk of chasing the other animals or escaping to the woods or muddy ponds! There was a fenced area a short distance from the house which they could exercise safely in.see more
