“Clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage ideal for all ages.” The Bothy is a spacious, well equipped cottage with many thoughtful extras provided by the owners to make it feel like a home from home. It was an ideal base for exploring the area but also provided a warm and cosy place to spend a winter's day relaxing indoors. The view of the Church through the living room window was breathtaking in the early morning mist. Having ensuites in all the bedrooms made it easier for a group of adults sharing the house. The welcome pack and fresh flowers in the cottage were a particularly nice touch.
“lovely property in great location” this is a really lovely property with everything you could need in a great location. The owners are really friendly including their kids who made friends with ours and showed them around and had fun together. Will definately return to this or one of the other properties at this location.
The Bothy, very spacious three bedroom cottage, sleeps 7 (+1). All rooms ensuite
Somewhere to get away from it all
Great location and fairly remote within a mile of highest point in Dorset - which is well worth a walk. Spacious and clean, light and airy cottage surrounded lovely gardens with goats, pigs and sheep nearby ready to greet you and your family, whatever you age!. Nice pub and village shop within walking distance. Village well placed and in easy reach of Bridport, Dorchester, Crewcerne etc …
Lovely location, all amenities are catered for. Safe parking and beautiful scenery. We booked both the cottages for a family holiday and everyone enjoyed their time at Week St Mary. First day there was a problem with the toilet but this was sorted out promptly by Gaynor our host. Thank you for the attention. Good location for visiting North Cornwall but you do need a car to see the main attractions. Relaxing atmosphere and the games room is a plus if the weather is mixed which for our visit it was. I would have liked to explore the local area more with walks from the doorstep but the weather preventing venturing into the fields. More information on local walks would have been an advantage but we did not miss out on all the other places we visited. Boscastle is worth a visit very beautiful and Bude is great for shops and a good beaches with coast walks. …
Very comfortable homely and clean
We have had a very enjoyable stay beautiful surroundings, lovely walks. Friendly people and friendly village. We would definitely return …
Seriously good accomodation
My wife and I spent a week staying at the Barn with our two golden retrievers. Property was clean, tidy and spacious and had everything we needed. Owners were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive.
Wi-Fi was brilliant as it helped us keep an eye on the weather forecast for a rather wet week and find places to go.
Furnishings were modern and comfortable and a new flat screen TV was handy for watching Euro 2016 games.
Only thing we would have changed would have been a private garden so dogs could be outside without the risk of chasing the other animals or escaping to the woods or muddy ponds! There was a fenced area a short distance from the house which they could exercise safely in. …
