“Excellent location” Brilliant location, spotlessly clean and very roomy of Central London. Would definitely visit again.
Thank you for being accommodating in letting us leave our luggage for a couple of hours after checkout. Much appreciated.
“Can't imagine a better place to stay in Central London” This is absolute 'fun-central' for London. Only minutes walk from the CG Plaza and Seven Dials and yet reasonably quiet. Centre of the theatre district with great pubs and good food literally at your doorstep.
Cosy flat, really comfortable for 2; good security and all the features you need, including wi-fi and air-con. Barry and Jill were excellent, leaving lots of extras for our week's stay (thank you !). Our only comment was the mattress, which we found a bit soft but that's a preference thing anyway.
Night noise was not an issue - on the couple of nights we were in the flat, the streets died down by 10.30 and maybe a bit later on Fridays but that is in peak summer time - it would be even quieter as the weather cools off. Rubbish collection started a bit early, around 7am but nothing unusual for the centre of a major city and the double glazing dulled most of the noise anyway.
I can't imagine a better place to stay in Central London - we'll certainly be going back there next time we hit the UK.
“perfect place to stay right in the center of the city” Arrived in London in the afternoon, was welcomed by the very friendly manager and handed the keys. The manager provided his hand phone number gave us peace of mind. The apartment was clean, tidy and a fantastic alternative to a hotel room. There is the hustle and bustle of theatre district and shopping streets right on the doorstep but no street noise is heard when in the apartment. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 12 days, the cost of the apartment would be 50% cheaper than any of the hotels in the area. All in all a great place to stay, will defiantly book again.
“Great Property!!! Highly Recommend!!!” If you want a very clean property in a great location of town then this is your place to stay. Centrally located to multiple tube stations, shopping and great restaurants. My whole family was impressed at how much this felt like home. Bedrooms a little small but welcome to London. Nothing out of the ordinary. Owner was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. Will stay there again!!!!
“In the middle of the action” The apartment at 6 King Street Covent Garden is only a 150 steps or so from the Piazza in Covent Garden and central to everything - about 5 minutes walk to Leicester Square and about 8 minutes to Regent Street, 5 minutes to Trafalgar Square so is in the middle of all the action Flat 2 is on the second floor and there are 57 steps to reach it. We enjoyed our 8 day visit, the bed was comfortable and the apartment nice and clean with a maid service included in the price. The equipment was a bit lacking - much of it was missing ie there were only two mugs and no cups for an apartment for four and there was no dryer as listed only a drying rack but washing did dry quickly on it. I would say they need to keep an eye on equipment and make sure they have quantities as listed on the inventory. They supplied dishwashing tablets for the dishwasher when asked. There is no problem with noise as referred to in a previous review - sitting in the lounge in the evening you can hear a little noise from the street but when you shut the 2 doors between the kitchen and bedroom it's like being in a quiet oasis of calm - admittedly sometimes in the night you might hear a clock chime but you are in the centre of London. If you are so sensitive a pair of silicone earplugs fixes this but we didn't use ours.
We were a little concerned sending 1200 pounds to Medworth Investments (we dealt with Sarah) but our security deposit was refunded promptly with no issues. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay in central London.
“Location, Location, Location!” If you are thinking of visiting London to do a little sight seeing or a lot of shopping like I did, the location of this apartment doesnt get any better. This is THE location. This is the first time in 4 years I have been back to London after living in the Canaries, and Covent Garden is definfitley the place to be, it's Oxford Street, New Bond Street and Carnaby Street all rolled into one. For eating try 'Bills' (breakfast and dinner) in Slingsby Place and Laduree in the Covent Garden Piaza especially if you need a sugar rush from a delightful French Macaroon and coffee. The apartment was very clean on arrival and once you were in felt very secure. Perfect size for 2 people (maybe 3 at a push) The view out of the attic window was the London Eye and from the front window the Telecom tower...and on a still night you can hear the chimes of Big Ben...overall if you want to suck up the sights and sounds of London, this is for you.
“Very clean and modern flat with excellent amenities and perfect location” The highlight of our stay in London. We will definitely stay here again. A home away from home.
The apartment is beautiful, equipped with modern amenities but at the same time full of character. It provided everything we needed to make our visit an experience to remember. Ideally situated in the heart of Covent Garden where there is an amazing choice of restaurants and bars. Within walking distance we found the British Museum and Trafalgar Square with the National Gallery. Also very close by to London's Theatres.
“Perfect Location” We stayed here for 10 nights, it was absolutely perfect. The location was ideal with Covent Garden Markets, convenience store and tube lines all within a few minutes walk. The apartment was extremely clean, the room sizes were great, heating was great and it was so fabulous to have a washing machine! The bathroom was a good size and plenty of hot water. Staff and management were friendly and helpful and the apartment was very secure. Would stay here again!
