Hello, I am the owner of Mews Cottage and have only just become aware of this review and therefore the condition that you found the house in. I must firstly apologise, and I regret very much that this has occurred. The cleaner who we used at that time left the cleaning company some time ago and I am assured that this type of thing will not happen again. With regard to the smell from the drain this has not re-occurred, so I am a little bit puzzled about that, but shall investigate.
If you look at other reviews we have had you can see that this was a one off slip up, and we will be doing our utmost to ensure there is no repeat. Jon Lodge.
