“A gem!” A lovely, clean, tidy place to stay. Everything you need is in the cottage and it was the perfect size for 2 of us. Just a short train ride into Cardiff, which is the main reason we stayed here. The cottage is perfectly located near to the Taffs Trail - great for walking or cycling, and I would recommend Umber and Siennas Art Cafe just off the trail in Taffs Well. Beautiful! We had a great days cycling to Caerphilly Castle and Castle Coch. Unfortunately, there is nowhere dry to store bikes, so make sure you take bike covers with you. The local pub Fagins, - just 70 steps away- is fantastic! Good food, good beer and great atmosphere. We didn't manage to try the other establishments as we loved this one so much! A truly great place to stay, I would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back there again.
