“Fabulous!” We (husband, two children 10 and 12 and myself) stayed here when we went to the Rugby. It is a beautifully appointed apartment with lovely views of the canal and ideally situated in Cardiff Bay. Walking distance to two pubs and the number 7 bus stops right out the front and will have you in town in half an hour.
The apartment has all you could ask for in a short or longer term stay. Our daughter wanted to move in permanently and our son loved playing on the PlayStation 3. I loved walking on the lovely thick carpets in bare feet and would have loved more time to curl up on the coach with the luxurious cushions and blankets and read my book
Jan, the owner was very helpful with information on transport and places to eat which as it was our first visit to Cardiff and at short notice, was much appreciated.
We would have no hesitation in staying there next time.
“Very nice house in great location” Lovely house in a great location (5 mins from Bus, 10 mins from city centre). The owner was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. I would happily stay here again.
“A gem!” A lovely, clean, tidy place to stay. Everything you need is in the cottage and it was the perfect size for 2 of us.
Just a short train ride into Cardiff, which is the main reason we stayed here.
The cottage is perfectly located near to the Taffs Trail - great for walking or cycling, and I would recommend Umber and Siennas Art Cafe just off the trail in Taffs Well. Beautiful!
We had a great days cycling to Caerphilly Castle and Castle Coch.
Unfortunately, there is nowhere dry to store bikes, so make sure you take bike covers with you.
The local pub Fagins, - just 70 steps away- is fantastic! Good food, good beer and great atmosphere. We didn't manage to try the other establishments as we loved this one so much!
A truly great place to stay, I would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back there again.

2 Log cabins with stunning views, ideal location near Cardiff, South Wales
I arranged a hen party and came across the log cabins. I contacted David the owner who was very helpful and had a great manner.
When we arrived at the cabins they looked even better than the pictures I had seen. The view is breath taking. The cabins are very big, modern, clean and has everything you would need!
David came and introduced himself on the first day and brought us bottles of wine and showed me how to work the hot tub.
10 of us went in total and the price per person for a 3 night stay was less than you'd pay for some hotels.
The hot tub is positioned between the 2 cabins it's private and you're facing on to the the beautiful views.
We honeslty had the best weekend amd David recomended some local pubs and bus times etc.
This was one of the best places I have been too and everyone agreed!
David was brilliant from start to finish and cannot fault him at all...he went over and above to make sure we had a great weekend.
We enjoyed it that much we are planning on going back for my hen.
A huge thank you to David for all your hard work and help, we very much appreciate it.
Hopefully be back in a couple of years.
