“Absolutely stunning barn with amazing views!” I hired Dolly's Barn for a long weekend for my finances birthday and I'm very glad I chose this one. The barn is immaculate. Decor is very modern and homely. The view from the patio and bedroom window is amazing. You couldn't get more in the countryside if you tried. The host Helen was very kind and friendly. I would happily recommend this barn to anyone after a peaceful weekend away. Will definitely be back!
“tranquil” helen the owner was so helpful and very welcoming everything was ready for us, the cottage has a wonderful charm,it has a wood burner that brings a cosy warmth to the cottage ( a basket of wood is ready and waiting for you )the kitchen has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable with fabulous soft warm quilts and pillows.location is stunning, local pubs about 2 miles away provide good food and reasonable prices.i loved the peace and quiet and the stunning scenery there was no shop around the corner so you need to remember supplies when you go out but that is not a bad thing.
“Rustic and Beautiful” Thoroughly recommend staying ay this lovely rustic old cottage. Great views and gardens. We lit the fire which made it all the more cosy as we had some days when it rained but made the best of it regardless. Cheers to our hosts Mike and Janet.
“Quiet getaway” Lovely, cosy place to stay. Perfect place for those wanting a quiet break with some beautiful places to walk and visit nearby and some wildlife to watch in the garden (as well as a very friendly cat!) :) very welcoming host and happy to help with anything. Would stay again :)
“Fabulous cottage and setting” Whole family were so impressed by the accommodation. This is a beautifally converted barn keeping original features such as wooden beams. stone walls etc. It is spacious, comfortable and very nicely decorated, well equipped and eco friendly . Great outdoor space front and back for relaxing, eating and BBQing - with views over woods and sugar loaf hill, which has immediate walking path access too. Also loved the old shed with TT table - was used daily by us all. Cake and wine on arrival was a really nice touch. Great location for mountain biking at Bike Park Wales, Black Mountain, and Forest of Dean and also for finding own trails. Would go back again.
