I understand your point about the reading lamp as the lighting is quite soft in the living room when only the two lamps are on. We felt that the directional spots overhead did the job well when required but we will certainly look at this again. We have never encountered a problem with the shower tray at the cottage but thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We hope you come back again to Bathford - we will be offering some lazy weekends in January and some of February with late Sunday departures on offer - perfect for the sales and sunday lunch.

A shame you didn't go for food to the Bathampton Mill where you got the river bus from, which we strongly recommend in our guide. As you know it's easy walking distance and is a lovely setting. You can have reasonably priced bar food or more choice in the restaurant. Also in our guide is the George and Dragon in Batheaston, just 3 or 4 minutes walk. Quite simple, but good food. We have visited Bath several times and tend to book apartments now our children are teenagers. Number3 certainly met our needs. It was beautifully decorated and had all mod cons including the teenager… More
