Located just over a mile from Massington Lodge is the market town of Ledbury. Ledbury has a large number of picturesque timber framed buildings including the market house located in the centre of the town. Great places to eat.Lovely walk over the hills to Ledbury.
Also nearby is Eastnor Castle, a 19th Century mock medieval castle. Surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum and lake the castle is a popular wedding and corporate entertainment venue.
The grounds of Eastnor Castle are used by Land Rover and allow visitors to try out vehicles on their specially designed off road circuit. The deer park at Eastnor is within walking distance which leads onto the Malvern Hills with outstanding views over Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Close to Massington Lodge is the British Camp, an iron age fort thought to be first constructed in the 2nd Century BC.There are many different walking routes from here.
