The Wendy House is a delightful seafront property in the idyllic fishing village of Cellardyke, Fife.

The incredible sea views are without doubt the main attraction of this well appointed cottage . Recently upgraded, the cottage has three bedrooms with a family bathroom and two en-suites so it is ideal for a family or group of friends. Designed to make the most of the location, the cottage is quirky and very traditional from the outside with a comfortably modern interior.

On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with en-suite wc and the bright and light lounge which combines the galley kitchen. The fully retractable glass frontage opens the lounge straight onto the front terrace with uninterrupted sea views. Several outdoor seating options allow guests to relax and dine outside. In the lounge, the coffee table cleverly extends to become your dining table.

Upstairs is the second twin room with en-suite shower room, family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle and the master double bedroom with mesmerising sea views from the picture window.

The lane to the side of the house leads you directly onto the shoreline, perfect for early morning dog walks or kids who love to explore the rockpools. As you are on the coastal path, you can easily walk to all the surrounding villages and the harbourfront of Anstruther is just a moment's stroll away. St Andrews is less than 20 minutes by car and there are several renowned golf courses in close proximity.

The Wendy House is a charming property with plenty to offer guests coming to the beautiful East Neuk area.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
