Bath is a great centre for touring England's West County. The Cotswolds are in easy reach, while closer to home you can visit picturesue villages such as Lacock and Castle Combe - both reputed to be the prettiest in England! The hills and countryside around the city offer a fantastic array of walks, and you can walk into the city along the towpath of the Kennet and Avon canal.
Don't forget to try to local scumpy (cider) while you're here!

Bath is a year-round destination which hosts a number of international festivals (Mozart, Music, Guitar etc). The city is one of only three World Heritage Cities in Europe, with a unique array of fine Georgian buildings. Visit the Jane Austen centre, the Holbourne Museum, Museum of Costume, Assembly Rooms and take afternoon tea to the strains of the trio in the Pump Room.
The city has the highest concentration of restaurants outside London, together with a huge variety of pubs, bars and night clubs.
