“Excellent value for money” Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Owners Sue & Alan have thought of every detail and have a little gem of a holiday home.The hot tub is soooo relaxing after a long walk and there are white robes / slippers provided adding to the chilled out feeling once you're out of the tub. The "secret garden" behind the gate comes alive at night with lights that are tastefully placed around it and the hot tub,we spent a day just lounging on the garden chairs in the hot sunshine ( lucky with the weather). Difficult place to say " goodbye" to as its a peaceful haven. Good luck to Sue & Alan they've put a lot of thought ,hardwork into this lodge and we hope it goes from strength to strength. “Cosy apartment in the beautiful dales.” Your apartment is warm, cosy and spacious and has everything available that you could possibly need to make the stay very comfortable. Appliances galore in the kitchen- loved the slow cooker. We enjoyed playing the games and puzzles that were available, especially the big 500 piece Europe jigsaw! We had a lovely week exploring the dales, the apartment is centrally located to travel around with ease. We visited Asgarth Falls, Tan Hill, Malham Cove, Hawes Wensleydale cheese factory, White Scar caves, Bolton Castle... among other places. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would highly recommend your apartment. Thank you.

“A fantastic house on a lovely site.” The house is immaculate, with many thoughtful touches. It is located on a quiet site, but has a range of good facilities. The owner is very helpful, sending lots of information beforehand. The step down onto the paved bbq area is quite steep, making it difficult for less mobile people.

“Absolutely fabulous” Superb barn conversion in lovely surroundings. A perfect place to relax and unwind. A perfect location to explore the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.The accommodation is finished to a very high standard. It's beautiful, spacious and very comfortable . Jeff & Karen are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything to ensure a perfect stay. The hamper full of lovely goodies was a wonderful surprise when we arrived. We will definitely be returning.

“Fabulous well equiped cottage in stunning location” The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the cottage was very cosy and warm which was fantastic as the weather was cold and blustery and a bit rainy at times. It was beautifully furnished and decorated with fabulous views out across the Worth valley. Moorland walks straight from the door and close to Howarth with the Bronte Parsonage Museum, lovely shops and pubs. We happened to be there for the steam punk week-end in Howarth with people in Victorian dress which was fun! We had a birthday event with friends in Lytham St Annes and a lunch at the Inn at Whitewell so had the opportunity to travel over the hills and valleys on the scenic route to the Forest of Bowland and beyond. Definitely stay again!

“It's the little things that make this cottage so special!” Last year we stayed in a sweet but very tiny cottage. So Manor Farm Cottage was a breathe of fresh air for us, with 3 very bouncy kids. A large kitchen diner, a comfortable lounge, a huge family bedroom for the kids and a decent double for us was just what we needed. But it was the food parcel, including fresh eggs from the owners' chickens, a huge array of toys, DVDs, books and sweets for the children, a lovely garden complete with BBQ and a Little Tykes car (our 4 year old was in heaven!) and then Catherine popping round with strawberries she had just picked - it was these things that made Manor Farm Cottage so special!

“Half Term Break” Just returned from Mile House East, where we stayed for 4 nights. The house is stunning and is set in a quiet village with an abundance of walks around the local area. The house is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need! We particularly liked the room over the barn with a snooker table and a great choice of board games and DVD’s to watch. Leyburn is a 10 minute drive away and the local pub just 2mins drive down the road to Carlton. We would recommend the walk from Bolton Castle to Aysgarth Fallls which takes in some stunning views of the local area. We stayed as 2 families with a pet dog and had a thoroughly enjoyable break.

“Perfect place to stay in Whitby” Six of us stayed in Gulls Cry Cottage in September and had a lovely break, the cottage is extremely comfortable, nicely set up and ideally situated in Whitby. “Great cottage in central Whitby with Parking!” We've had a wonderful week staying at Abbey View in Whitby, we being myself, husband, 11 year old son and 80 year old mother. It was perfect! Abbey View is in a great location in central Whitby with the added bonus of a parking space right nearby and we were able to unload our stuff from the car directly outside the cottage. This charming cottage has everything we needed to be able to easily self cater, although the fish and chips in Whitby is not to be missed and there are plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance. It is a short climb up from the centre of Whitby, which my 80 year old mother managed without too many problems. The cottage was very clean when we arrived, the linen was lovely and the beds were comfortable. My son loved his bedroom on the top floor. The cottage is very spacious despite external appearances - it looks tiny from the outside! We would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again and recommending to friends.

“Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped property very close to the centre of York.” Great long weekend stay at Minster House - property large enough to accommodate 12 members of our family ranging in age from 0 - 86 years! Immaculately maintained, warm, comfortable and equipped to a very high standard - no qualms about visiting with a baby, every requirement met, even an Advent sterilizer! Refreshments provided on arrival (including tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits) were very welcome! Very close to all the attractions in York, in fact York Minster is less than 10 mins walk away! Owner attentive, helpful and responded rapidly to any query. No hesitation in recommending this property -we hope to visit Minster House again!

“Cosy little cottage” After a slight problem on arrival which was quickly solved by the owner we spent a couple of lovely days at cuddy cottage. The cottage has everything for your needs and is located right in the middle of the harbour within easy reach of everything. Only negative is the parking. We had to buy a parking permit which cost us £26.00 for 3 days as none of the parking Meyers were working. You can get these from the tourist info centre on the harbour side. Remember to add this cost when booking any accommodation in this area. We really loved cuddy cottage and will be back when we can. Thank you to the owners for all your help & also to the lovely lady who lives next door.

“Luxury by the sea” This was my second visit to the The Beacon and I have booked another two breaks for this year.I have stayed at three other apartments over the last 2 years and although they were very nice I must say The Beacon is the best! Apart from the luxury decor and facilities the view is wonderful ,probably one of the best in Filey The owner Sue and her family are very welcoming and are eager to help in any way.

“Excellent in every way” We spent three nights at The Apartment in Masham at the end of May. There were five of us (three adults and two children aged 5 and 7) and there was more than enough room for us. The apartment was clean, bright, nicely decorated, and stocked with enough games and books to keep the kids busy in the evening. The village is very well served and is a great location for exploring the Dales.

“Wonderful location and Accomodation” Another excellent stay as always we have been coming to this apartment for 6 years,the location is central to shops, buses, train station and 10 mins to beach. It as every thing you require and is kept in a high standard by the owner always clean and welcoming.This apartment is the place to stay for couples,families and older people as it is ground floor. “Fabulous” Amazing place and setting. We had a fabulous time here. My 2 grandsons loved the green areas and open space. We were lucky with the weather 20+ each day we were there. The walk into town, especially with children takes 25-30 mins but it is very pleasant and a taxi ride back is £6.00. The house had everything needed and was so spacious for the 5/6 of us . Hoping to get back again real soon.
