The warm welcome from owner & thorough details provided makes sure you settle in quickly. With a thoughtful welcome basket also to greet you. We found having our dog with us presented no issues & accommodation was easy to keep clean & tidy with the well placed lay out. Castle Howard so near( 3 visits ! ) they serve a lovely breakfast ,useful on day of departure. York, and also the coast not to far away we found so much to do which included our furry friend being with us. So great base, great location, fabulous scenery, dog friendly.

“Beautiful, well appointed, relaxing country retreat” Nestled in the countryside, just outside of the village of Brandesburton in Yorkshire. This converted cart shed is a beautiful conversion, retaining some of the original features. It has everything you need for quiet, relaxing time away. We booked this for my wife's 70th birthday celebrations, with family coming from around the country to join us for the weekend in the middle of our stay. We particularly enjoyed being able to watch so much wildlife from the windows on wet days, and out in the garden on others. There are wonderful walks to enjoy, and it is close to many local landmarks. Burton Agnes Hall is close by, as are the towns of Hornsea, Withernsea, Bridlington, Scarborough, and the City of Culture Kingston Upon Hull. We absolutely loved our time here, and were sorry to leave. We were so very well looked after by John and his family. Thankyou

“Absolutely fabulous” Superb barn conversion in lovely surroundings. A perfect place to relax and unwind. A perfect location to explore the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.The accommodation is finished to a very high standard. It's beautiful, spacious and very comfortable . Jeff & Karen are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything to ensure a perfect stay. The hamper full of lovely goodies was a wonderful surprise when we arrived. We will definitely be returning.

“Amazing little hidden gem and pet friendly” Lovely bungalow on a nice quiet caravan site. The location is perfect for the beach, a good 10-20 minute walk and that’s at the pace of our 5 year old daughter. The bungalow is really modern, clean, spacious inside. Perfect parking for 2 cars. Pet and child friendly especially with the enclosed decking on the back. One thing we did find lovely, no matter who you passed on site, people always said “good morning/afternoon” everyone on the site was really friendly and welcoming.

“Spacious, stylish and well equipped accommodation in lovely part of the country.” We rented Ford Cottage for our Book Club Weekend ~ 7 ladies in all. The cottage was superb, plenty of space, very stylish decor and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting in the garden area, relaxing over our meals in the dining room (including having a meal delivered from the Pub) playing games in the large lounge and all the bedroom / bathrooms were excellent. We would highly recommend this property.

“Excellent holiday cottage.” Really amazing holiday cottage, the owners seemed to have thought of everything to make you as comfortable as they could. There was a wonderful welcome basket with wine, coffee, tea, and all sorts of goodies. The cottage was modern, well equipped and comfortable. The garden went down to the river with a beautiful summer house to relax in. Can't recommend this more highly..

“Lovely spacious cottage” Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here, it was a lovely cottage with everything you could need, comfortable beds and plenty of space for my two dogs. Parking on the road was no trouble and there are lots of parks a short drive away to visit. Views are fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a break from the normal day to day life!

“Great cottage fantastic location.” Greeted by the owner, full of information, very friendly and helpful. welcome pack awaited us on arrival. lovely cottage fully equipped, probably more kitchen items than most of us have at home. climbing frame for children in garden, luckily we had glorious weather, but there was a fully equipped games room for wet days. everything worked and it was spotlessly clean, Would gladly go back if the need arose. Nice quiet location, good walk into Goathland once you find the way.
