“Amazing Cottage, Stunning Location” We booked this cottage for the Christmas week and although we were excited by it looking at the pictures online, we were blown away by it when we actually arrived. The location is beautiful and Graeme explained on arrival that everything from the cottage downwards away from the main house was ours to explore. We walked everyday at least once round the paddock/private woodland (lookout for the hidden creatures in the woods if you have kids). The walk was very peaceful and stunning. Fantastic little touches were greatly appreciated too, like being provided with Christmas table cloths etc and Christmas themed bedding for the children (which they loved!) Graeme and Sue were very welcoming and helpful when needed, yet left us to it the rest of the time apart from when the hot tub needed treating which was no issue at all. It felt like the whole property and area belonged to us, so if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. Bewdley is a lovely little historic town and well worth a visit while you are staying at this cottage. We also needed to store some personal items as we were between house moves during this stay and Graeme kindly offered an out building for us to store this in for our stay, an offer that truly made our time in the cottage much more enjoyable. The kids deemed the whole thing as the best Christmas ever and I had to agree with them, especially when we got snowed in on the day we were supposed to leave. The best wintery scene I’ve ever looked at with my own eyes and Graeme kindly let us stay till 16:00 in the afternoon at no extra charge till it was safe to drive, as well as lending us two sledges for the kids.
