Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Luxury log cabin - peaceful & tranquil location” We stayed at Roundstone View for 5 days. We needed to chill out with our two dogs. Our choice of property & location was perfect. The property is a well insulated log cabin although we did not use the central heating it was available. The location is on the banks of the River Severn, very little activity on the River apart from a daily visit by four swans & six ducks. No passing boats to disturb you. The views from the lounge & main bedroom are excellent . The River flow is moderate, although I am not interested in fishing this would be an ideal location if you are into River fishing. The local heritage Steam railway runs about 200 yards away, you can board the train at Northwood Halt a short distance away. Don't forget to tell the Guard on your return journey where you wish to leave the train as the halt is a request stop only.
Lots of equipment &.facilities in the property. You can eat outside overlooking the River or use the table on the side lawn. Three bedrooms all with double beds, the master bed is a massive Super King size very comfortable. Shower in the ensuite is a double (5 stars). Kitchen is small but adequate & very well stocked with equipment. Lots of country walks in different directions.
The property is secure for animals, plenty of room outside the property to play football etc.
We would be happy to return to the property next year as the locality has much to offer.
“Simply Perfect!” From the moment we arrived we knew this cottage was going to be a very special place to stay. We were given the warmest of welcomes by Graeme and Sue who immediately made us feel relaxed in our new surroundings. The quality of the furnishings is of the highest standard and the overall finish of the property is exceptional. There is literally nothing they haven’t thought of - from the hot tub with its stunning views to the very practical utility room to the fun garden games. It is all at this wonderful cottage. It is the perfect location to either relax and enjoy the land and woodland with the property or to head out to explore local towns such as Bewdley, Bridgnorth or Ironbridge. It is fair to say that we did not want to leave when the holiday ended and we are missing it already. Thank you once again Graeme and Sue - we will definitely be back !
