“Wonderful place in a lovely setting.” My wife and I and two friends have just returned from a short break at the Shippen. We were met and made most welcome by Karen and Jeff who couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need, with quality furnishings and equipment.It is really wheelchair friendly, with easy access both inside and out with a pathway leading from the designated parking area. Should you require any mobility aids they can be made available by prior arrangement. We were here in March, but we were snug and warm with the underfloor heating, and couldn't resist lighting the real log fire (you know how it is - wonderful!) There is a full sized tennis court and on site coarse fishing at no extra charge. This is definitely worth a visit. Don't think about it, just book it. You won't be disappointed.

“What a perfect place - all mod cons and beautiful scenery.” A beautifully converted barn with great facilities set within the perfect location just outside a village with a great pub. The owner is very welcoming and very happy to suggest interesting places to visit. The local market towns are well worth a visit and all are arranged around a central square/main street with good independent shops.
