“Lovely property-great location” This property is in a perfect location for exploring the Highlands. The cottage is lovely with amazing views. It’s clean, has lots of information and very helpful owners. We had a great holiday and would definitely recommend staying here.

“First class cabin in a lovely location” We enquired about the cabin via email at the very last minute and I was surprised to get a reply from William the owner the within minutes, especially as it was late at night. We were impressed by the photos on the website and amazed that it was still available. William kindly offered us a last minute discount price which we grabbed with both hands! It would have been out of our budget at the standard rate because this was our third holiday of the year and we should have been camping had the forecast of gale force winds not put us off! But having visited I can definitely say that it's worth every penny whether you get a discount or not. Because we ate in most nights we saved money that would have gone on expensive bar tabs and we didn't miss having a local pub at all. The area isn't touristy at all which is nice and the location is fantastic. It's location 10 minutes drive from the A9 means that you are ideally placed to explore Inverness and the highlands with ease. The only minor criticism I would have is that the view from the cabin includes pylons but we didn't mind. It's the standard of the cabin itself which really sets this apart from other options. It's newly built this year (2011) and the standard that William and Rhona have achieved is very, very high. They haven't cut corners anywhere! The kitchen features a granite worktop, modern appliances, an excellent oven and hob, not to mention just about every utensil you could possibly need! The two bathrooms were spacious and finished well. I particularly liked the downstairs walk in shower. The main bedroom was spacious and had it's own balcony. Beds were very comfortable and we found that there was more than storage space for all our clothes. It took a while to get used to the ground source heating system because we just weren't expecting it to keep the house so warm! But let's be honest, is a nice problem to have in Scotland! I'm absolutely sure that even in the coldest of winters you would be toasty warm here. I loved the eco credentials of the cabin and it's clear that William and Rhona haven't done this just to make money. All in all, I can't recommend this place enough and we'll definitely be back at some point!
