“An idyllic retreat with easy access to the surrounding area and attractions.” Met by Isabel who showed us around her lovely accommodation. Very clean, child friendly and relaxing. Views were lovely, even went for a walk around the next door Nature Reserve. Ideal place if your looking for peace and chill out time. Handy travel distance to nearby Leek and other local attractions as we were down for our Son's Graduation. Would definitely book again in the near future when back down. Thank you.

“The staffordshire moorlands hidden gem.” Theres not alot to say other than "out of this world" Lynn and Nigels attention to detail shows from the minute you arrive, from the lovely meal on arrival to the luxury towels, the great bedding....and wait im forgetting something, oh thats right the HOT TUB! even down to the little things like dishwasher tablets, coffee, tea, milk, red sauce, its all provided at no extra cost. these little touches really make the barn a home from home (or better as our 2 kids keep telling us) We arrived for our christmas in the barn, to a home cooked meal (chilli) which was stunning! presents for us and the kids, a lovely christmas tree, fresh cooked loaf, theres just to much to list about this place, the best thing to do is just book to experience it for yourselfs. If you want to be in a pure peace and quiet, not to far from lovely towns and attractions and enjoy walking, then book the barn! I really havent a bad word to say. “Beautiful surroundings friendly owners clean cosy accommodation” This is a lovely place to stay. The views are amazing and the cottage was clean and had everything you need, washing machine, microwave, DVD player. Owners very welcoming and even though cottage is close to the owners home you are left to it unless you need help with something. Recommend this cottage and location to couples, families anyone. We did the Dovedale trail (about 20minutes away) and the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath (about 40 minutes away) and there is lots more to do if you have the time. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.
