“What a wonderful cottage” We had a wonderful stay at Craigdarroch Cottage and can't thank Ailsa enough for opening up her home for others to appreciate. You can tell Ailsa's heart and soul went in to restoring the cottage. We stayed for 3 nights with our dogs and wished we could have stayed longer. We usually stay in a self catering cabin and normally have to take everything but the kitchen sink with us so we were surprised at how well equipped the cottage was. The cottage is open plan with 2 couches, flat screen tv, dvd player (there are even some dvds) and even enough room for a dinning table. The bedroom has a huge bed (super kingsize I think) which was incredibly comfortable, didn't want to get out of bed in the morning!! We took the dogs for walks along the suggested routes which they loved. We especially loved the roaring fire at the end of the day. I can't recommend this cottage highly enough and we look forward to our next visit.
