“fantastic place to stay, highly recommend” Myself and 9 friends spent a weekend in the healthy home to celebrate a 30th birthday. From the offset Gina the owner was incredibly helpful and she kept in regular contact with me to see if there was anything she could do for us whilst we were there. She sent me numerous links to local bars/restaurants and also provided some suggestions in regards to activities we could do both locally and in the house given that we were celebrating a birthday. The house is a little hard to find at first, unfortunately the postcode only takes you so far and then you have to find the rest of the way yourself however once you've found it it's easy to find again it becomes quite simple! The house itself is beautiful and the sheer size of it was simply gobsmacking the rooms were never ending. I would recommend that if you are spending a couple of nights there to spend at least one of them in the house to make use of all of the space that there is. We spent the first night in the 'party room' and it was more accommodating for all of us along with the numerous games that we had brought with us. Skipton town centre is about 15 mins in a taxi and there are pubs and bars and shops to keep you entertained so although it's in the countryside you won't be stuck in the middle of nowhere. If you are thinking of renting the house then please do so, you won't regret it. I will definitely be looking at coming back

“Great place to stay” This cottage is great for large groups and we would highly recommend it. It is superbly equipped, very cosy, immaculately clean and a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. On the down side it is on a busy road and parking can be a bit difficult but this in no way detracted from the experience. We are already talking about a return visit in a couple of years.
