Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“A lovely stay” We had a really pleasant stay at this cottage. It was cosy and clean, with lovely views from the sitting room window. We loved the rural setting, and the sheep feeling like our only neighbours!
The owners were very welcoming. Thanks for a great stay!!
“Great week for the whole family” We really enjoyed our stay at Oakwood Grange.
Anne the owner was very approachable and we felt really welcomed.
The Cottage was immaculate on arrival and we were supplied with milk / eggs etc.
It had all mod cons (dishwasher / Wi-Fi), comfy beds, quality en-suites and heated kitchen floor that my wife liked more than I did :-)
Oakwood Grange is in a rural location with easy access to Shrewsbury (10mins)& Church Stretton (15mins).
I popped to the Fox for a pint and it was fine, didn't buy any food though
As a family we enjoyed visiting Attingham, Hawkstone Park, Church Stretton + Shrewsbury
“Couldn’t be better!” Situated right in the centre off the Main Street in a courtyard. We were a family of four house hunting for a retirement apartment, found one less than 100 metres away!
The house is really well appointed with tea, coffee, virgin olive oils, balsamic, all the basic stuff, we cooked two nights and eat out two nights. House is warm, beds are amazing ( where can we get them? ) lots of art, quirky stuff, table football, I remain unbeaten, dinning table for 10 and everything we needed and more.
Best holiday let ever!
Thank you for raising the bar...
“Great place to stay - lots to see and do within 30 min drive” The property was lovely and made a cosy stay with the log burner in the evenings. If the sky is clear, be sure to gaze up and be amazed at how many stars you can see in this area of low light pollution.
Lots to see and do within 30 min drive, recommend RaF museum at Cosford, free and well worth a visit. Got a family year pass for all the museums and attractions in and around Ironbridege, worth every penny. Particularly enjoyed Blists hill victorian town and Ironbridge is a lovely place.
Not much nearby if you are on foot but it made a nice peaceful location.
Would go here again.
“Delightful Stay in Beautiful Home and Surroundings” "The cottage was beautiful and lovely and clean and very comfortable. Had all the things you require a home to have from essential cooking utensils to home comforts. The owners Penny and her Husband and their family were most hospitable." Would highly recommend a visit here. Some lovely pubs to visit in surrounding areas too.
We hope to return one day very soon!.
