Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Great place to stay - lots to see and do within 30 min drive” The property was lovely and made a cosy stay with the log burner in the evenings. If the sky is clear, be sure to gaze up and be amazed at how many stars you can see in this area of low light pollution.
Lots to see and do within 30 min drive, recommend RaF museum at Cosford, free and well worth a visit. Got a family year pass for all the museums and attractions in and around Ironbridege, worth every penny. Particularly enjoyed Blists hill victorian town and Ironbridge is a lovely place.
Not much nearby if you are on foot but it made a nice peaceful location.
Would go here again.
“peaceful rest” we had a home baked cake on arrival with facilitys for a cup of tea,the owner then popped round to say hello and if there was anything we needed just ask they also had a list of home grown vegetables and produce for sale which was lovely, this holiday cottage is beautiful, the rooms were large and had plenty of storage, the bathroom was laid out well ,and there were 2 toilets,it was just like home from home and we settled in in minutes, the chilren loved it there was plenty for them to see and do,we went fishing almost every day and played tennis or just walked round the grounds beautiful,it is just a couple of minutes drve from a large supermarket and town which historical and quaint,we came away fully rested and will go back again,
“Delightful Stay in Beautiful Home and Surroundings” "The cottage was beautiful and lovely and clean and very comfortable. Had all the things you require a home to have from essential cooking utensils to home comforts. The owners Penny and her Husband and their family were most hospitable." Would highly recommend a visit here. Some lovely pubs to visit in surrounding areas too.
We hope to return one day very soon!.
“Great week for the whole family” We really enjoyed our stay at Oakwood Grange.
Anne the owner was very approachable and we felt really welcomed.
The Cottage was immaculate on arrival and we were supplied with milk / eggs etc.
It had all mod cons (dishwasher / Wi-Fi), comfy beds, quality en-suites and heated kitchen floor that my wife liked more than I did :-)
Oakwood Grange is in a rural location with easy access to Shrewsbury (10mins)& Church Stretton (15mins).
I popped to the Fox for a pint and it was fine, didn't buy any food though
As a family we enjoyed visiting Attingham, Hawkstone Park, Church Stretton + Shrewsbury
