“Fantastic - views were stunning” This was an absolutely lovely apartment - child friendly and modern and clean. The views were. Reach taking and it was nice that there were little extras like salt and vinegar in the cupboard and everything we needed for meals I've utensils, washing up liquid etc. Only downside was the open plan living area would get very hot and bright when the sun was shining right in and we had to close the blinds and shut out the wonderful view. Would definitely book again - had everything we needed for our holiday and our son loved the open plan living.

“Broomfield cottages whitby” We had a great stay. The pod was surprisingly spacious and clean. The views were amazing. Beautiful bit of heaven.... We will definitely stay again. The shower block could do with a bit of updating, but it is a camp site. Are little girl loved the peacocks wondering about. Everything you needed was included for a short stay Thank you for having us

“Refreshing and quiet location” A Charming cottage situated within a working farm a couple of miles from Harwood village, Situated between Whitby and Scarborough. We arrived for our first holiday at the Cottage a couple of years ago at around 5pm to be greeted by Ingrid, Matty and Arthur who showed us around cottage and farm. Since then we have enjoyed several breaks at the cottage with various members of our family and always enjoyed a peaceful time. Our first time was just after lambing and there were lots of lambs running around the yard in front of the cottage. One of my favourite times is mornings when it is nice to watch lots and lots of different varieties of birds flying in and out of the trees and going onto the bird feeders in front of the windows. The cottage is always cosy and it’s so quiet it is difficult not to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The open fire with coal or logs is a sure way to fall asleep. I am looking forward to our next visit.

“Quiet Location, Dog friendly” We stayed at Doves Haven, Quiet, spacious, had everything needed for a stay. The creeking floorboards we won’t forget. Sainsbury supermarket close. Whitby 5 min drive, lots to see and do. RobinHood Bay. Falling Foss waterfall tearooms, Goathland village worth a visit. Not forgetting cinder trail down the field, lucky to see a deer. Also most mornings had a visit from the 2peacocks, won’t see that anywhere else. A thank you to Steph for your help.

“Great!” Wonderful little cottage to stay in, everything was in great condition and super comfortable! Only thing I would pick on would be the shower, no power at all but other than that it was a great short stay!

“Lovely Lodge!” We stayed for one night at the lodge at the end of Aug 2019 - house was really spacious and clean, beds all made up how I requested. It was very easy to find and the owner extremely helpful with giving us ideas about what to do with the children in Whitby. Hot tub was an added bonus which the kids loved. We didn’t notice the water treatment smell but suspect that if the wind was blowing the wrong way it might’ve been a bit smelly! We had peacock at the front door and in the back by the hot tub which was amazing, and kids loved the chickens. Was a lovely place and a great find!

“Tickle cottage is fantastic!” A homely and contemporary cottage in the heart of The Bay at Filey was the ideal location to spend with friends and their kids for the weekend. A great location with plenty to do and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tickle Cottage to family and friends who are looking to relax for the weekend. Tickle Cottage is the perfect little seaside cottage :)

“Great Apartment, Great Location” Just had 2 nights in this great apartment and have already booked another stay next year which says it all really! Lovely, clean, spacious and fully equipped apartment less than a ten minute walk into the centre of Whitby with beautiful views of the estuary. The apartment block is quiet and well maintained with the added bonus of a private parking space.

“Abbey view cottage” Really lovely stay! The people were friendly and welcoming, the cottage was cosy and spacious and it was a lovely surprise to meet the animals. My dogs had loads of space to play. We didn’t want to leave! The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. Will definitely return again. Thank you for our stay and fantastic value!!! On a niggly note, possible improvements..... The cottage is very dated, incredible dusty with cobwebs and spiders. The bedroom door in the twin room upstairs definitely needs repairing it is hanging off its hinges and screws kept falling out which worried me staying with my son and my dogs. Also it maybe nice to have more lighting in the kitchen and this too could do with updating.

“Ideally placed to explore Whitby” This "bungalow on stilts" is ideally placed, once you've found it. It is really down some narrow streets to get to it, especially when there is roadworks. Once found it really is invaluable to have a parking space - we drive a Land rover and parked it with no issue. The bungalow is lovely - just like the pictures on the site, very comfortable with all you need. We particularly liked the shower. Our only minor issues where we found it difficult to regulate the heating, but the weather was all over the place whilst we were there, and the other thing to note is the wooden floors are quite noisy, with 2 teenage boys I was pleased there was no one below us! The location as a base was fantastic - go one way and you are on the beach within 5 mins, go the other way and you are at the bridge to cross over to explore the other side of Whitby. Lots of restaurants within 5 min walk. The car did not move for the 4 days we were there. We found enough to do, it was quite busy for the time of year and trying to maintain social distancing was a challenge at times, I'm guessing this would be even worse during the summer. We enjoyed our time in Whitby and would recommend Pantiles as a base. Alison and Sarah were both extremely helpful, giving advice and recommending places to eat - many thanks.

“Family friendly” Had a wonderful stay at Baxter House with sisters and grandchildren. Lots of space for us all. Kitchen is well equipped making it easy to cook for everyone. Decor could do with updating but not an issue. Very central for all amenities with a short walk to the beach and gardens. Second stay here and would return again. Host very friendly and welcoming.
