CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - The cleaner has received guidance on the apartment is to be cleaned and how linen is to be washed as a result of this virus. As well as being cleaned, the house will be disinfected on changeover.

Perfect for a special break for a couple, friends or for a small family group, however the apartment is not suitable for children under the age of 7.

Formerly the show apartment in the redevelopment of the Brooklands Hotel, this is a spacious, modern, luxury apartment within walking distance of all the amenities of Scarborough.

The apartment is in Esplanade Gardens, a minutes walk from the tram to the Spa or about 10 minutes walk into Scarborough town centre.

Gorgeous, comfortable, up-market, 1st-floor holiday property.There are 2 bedrooms with blinds, the main bedroom which is ensuite has a kingsize bed and the second bedroom which is accessed down 8 steps has two single beds. There is full WiFi and central heating included.

There is a large entrance foyer and the apartment is located up two short carpeted flights of stairs with a wooden banister.

The open plan dining, living and kitchen is modern and beautifully presented with quality soft furnishings.

The living area which has an approximate size of 6m x 5.2m has two sofa's and two easy chairs in the bay window, where you can enjoy a relaxing drink while looking out to sea. There is a curved 43"TV with a separate DVD player. There is also a radio with a docking station for phones.

The glass dining table has six chairs for you to enjoy your meals.

There is a modern fully fitted kitchen which has an approximate size of 4.6m x 2.7m. There is all you would expect at this level - an electric cooker and ceramic hob with extractor fan, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster and microwave. The cupboards house everything you could possibly need. There is a separate breakfast bar with four bar stools, should you chose to eat there instead of at the dining room table.

There is a washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes airer in the hallway cupboard.

The bedrooms are extremely well-furnished and inviting. The main ensuite bedroom which has an approximate size of 4m x 3.9m has a king-size bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a full length mirror. The ensuite has a large walk in shower, sink, WC and heated towel radiator.

The second bedroom with a size of approximately 4.1m x 3.4m is a twin with 3ft single beds, bedside cabinets with lamps, a chest of drawers and clothe hanging space.

The main bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC, washbasin and heated towel radiator.

All in all self-catering with 5-star standards at a surprisingly reasonable price.

What's provided?

Bed-linen, tea-towels, oven gloves, bath and hand towels are supplied - but please bring beach towels with you.

Heating is by full central heating. Free WiFi

Hairdryer available for use.

Welcome pack which includes a scratch card(s) dependent on the length of your stay.



Between the hours of 9 to 5 Monday to Saturday and 12 to 5 on a Sunday you are allowed to park on Esplanade Gardens for 3 hours using a clock card which is left for guests to use. Outside of these times there are no parking restrictions. Further up the Esplanade there is free parking all day.

A car is not needed. Scarborough is served very well by a good bus service and it has a train station. Walking is easy and very pleasant.

We needed somewhere to stay between house moves and Brooklands had everything we could possibly require! Beautifully furnished and supplied with every possible piece of equipment, we could not fault it! The location is one of the best in Scarborough with wonderful views from the floor to ceiling windows! Communication with Helen, the owner was easy and she could not have been more pleasant and helpful! Highly recommended, we didn’t want to leave!

We were lucky to be able to book a bank holiday weekend in Scarborough as late as we did. (Blame Covid) Our luck held out, this apartment is gorgeous and Helen is very approachable. The photos on the website don't do the space justice or how quiet it is at night allowing restful sleep. The apartment has so many nice touches that it is impossible to find fault. We definitely want to return.
