“Fabulous cottage in the most amazing location.” The cottage- absolutely beautiful, excellent standard. Very comfortable with all the facilities one could require. The most amazing sea view where you could just spend hours looking for dolphins or watching the surfers who are not deterred by weather or time of day! Lovely sun room in the back garden which allowed us to enjoy a BBQ even on a day when the weather wasn't the best. The beds are very comfortable and it was such a relaxing feeling to wake up to the sound of waves each morning. The bedroom which was used by our children aged 5 and 3 was even made up with age appropriate bedding, ben10 and princess. They thought this was great. Very thoughtful of Wendy, the owner of the property who I have to add was extremely helpful throughout the booking process. Sandend- what a stunning location. The beach is absolutely perfect, lovely and clean, quiet but not lonely. The children and dogs thought it was wonderful, both managing to get in the sea for a paddle. The nearby areas have a lot to offer, The Shore Pub on the harbour of Portsoy does lovely meals, catering for vegetarians and children as well as meat eaters. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Cullen is a nice area with a few shops, golf course and beach. Lovely safe walks along a disused viaduct. Our party included persons from 3 years through to 61 years, each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and will most certainly return to the location and cottage. Very highly recommended.
