The Northumberland region
Northumberland still remains one of the undiscovered places in the UK, steeped in history with many castles and historic houses, Hadrian's Wall and Cheviot Hills to name but a few.
Boat trips leave Seahouses daily for the Farne Islands weather permitting.
Bamburgh with its stunning castle and beaches. It has many quality places to eat, a first class, but small green grocers, with home grown produce and fresh local eggs. A really good quality butcher is also located in the village.
Further afield is Seahouses with many more places to eat including two first class Indian restaurants. There are large supermarkets at Alnwick and Berwick

"Absolutely wonderful cottage in beautiful location"
We had a wonderful weeks holiday. The cottage is lovely. Furnished to a very high standard, clean and comfortable. Good location. Very quiet but a short drive to lots of lovely towns. Highly recommend
Many thanks for the positive coments, its always lovely to get good feedback. So pleased you had such a wonderful time. The peace and quiet of the cottage is something we always enjoy when we get the chance to visit ourselves, then once relaxed, can enjoy the rest of the area. thanks again and visit again soon.
