The Back House is an idyllic semi-detached cottage resting in Staindrop, County Durham and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, dining seating for six people and a sitting room with woodburning stove, Smart TV, DVD player and a selection of books, games and DVDs. The bedrooms consist of three super-king-size with zip/link, along with a bathroom and a cloakroom. 6-person private hot tub. Outside there is secure bike storage, a gravelled private pergola area with seating as well as access to sheltered walled courtyard, along with off-road secure parking for two cars. Within 0.2 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.1 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Catering can be arranged on request. Property provides a welcome pack with freshly baked items. At this point in time, we are unable to support charging of electric vehicles at the property There are multiple charging points at the local supermarket. Sorry no puppies, or dogs under 12 months. Please bring your own capsules for use of the coffee machine. Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. For a getaway that has it all, choose The Back House. Please note : There is to be no EV charging at this property. Nearest EV charging is 3.5 miles on outskirts of Barnard Castle.

Please bring suitable footwear if using the hot tub. Allocated off-road parking for 2 cars in private area, parking accessed next to cottage through farm parking area (not working area). Secure bike storage. Access to sheltered courtyard which leads to a fully screened private pergola area with hot tub and seating for 6. Additional seating area, also enclosed and screened with luxury sofas for 6. Two well-behaved dogs over 6 months welcome at no additional charge. Please enquire if 3 dogs are included in the group. This is a no smoking property. Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.3 miles Catering can be arranged on request. There is no EV charging available at this property, the nearest EV charging is 3.5 miles on the outskirts of Barnard Castle

Town: The market town of Darlington lies on the southern boundaries of County Durham, a town well known for its railway connections. Darlington has a wide range of restaurants, pubs and cafes, an active Civic Theatre, a Forum Music Centre, multiplex cinemas, plus lots of retail outlets, both indoor and outdoor, which are sure to keep you busy. It provides various points of interest including the City of Durham to the north, plus Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Saltholme RSPB Reserve, to the east on the coast, fringing the North York Moors. To the south York, Harrogate and Ripon beckon, whilst in the west, the wonderful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales is close by.
